Downdip Extension of High-Grade Core

LinQ Minerals (ASX:LNQ) has pushed the boundaries of its Dam deposit within the Southern Zone of the Gilmore Project, delivering a significant downdip extension of its high-grade gold and copper core. Hole TDRCD006 intercepted 141 metres at 0.88g/t gold equivalent (Au Eq) from 183 metres, extending the known mineralised zone by an additional 100 metres to roughly 270 metres depth. This intersection confirms continuity of a shallow, high-grade core exceeding 100 gram-metres Au Eq, a key metric for economic viability.

Shallow Intersections Surpass Current Resource Grades

Further drilling along the northern strike of the deposit has returned robust results at shallow depths. Holes TDRC008 and TDRCD009 delivered 101 metres at 0.68g/t Au Eq and 131 metres at 0.67g/t Au Eq respectively, both exceeding the grades currently defined in the resource at open-pittable depths. These wide, consistent intersections bolster the inferred category of the resource, suggesting potential for near-surface resource growth.

Discovery of New Gold-Rich Epithermal Zone

Adding a fresh dimension to the project, hole TDRCD010 intersected an 8-metre zone grading 1.56g/t Au Eq from 101 metres, characterised as a gold-rich epithermal quartz vein system outside the existing resource boundary. This target remains open in multiple directions, presenting a new near-deposit exploration opportunity that could materially enhance the project’s resource base.

Pending Assays and Ongoing Drilling Momentum

LinQ has completed an additional six holes at the Dam deposit, with results pending, alongside seven holes at the Monza prospect. Executive Chair Clive Donner highlighted the impact of these results on the inferred resource category and the excitement around the newly identified gold zone. The company anticipates further assay newsflow through June and July, which could provide additional clarity on the scale and grade continuity across the Southern Zone.

Strategic Positioning within a Premier Gold-Copper Province

The Gilmore Project, spanning approximately 597 square kilometres in New South Wales, is situated within the Macquarie Arc province, Australia’s foremost porphyry gold-copper belt. The project hosts a global mineral resource estimate of 516 million tonnes containing around 3.7 million ounces of gold and 1.2 million tonnes of copper. LinQ’s extensive tenement package covers a 60-kilometre belt with over 20 prospects and six mineral resource deposits, including the Dam and Gidginbung deposits, which are geologically analogous to major operations like Cadia and Northparkes.
