Significant Expansion of Blue Tungsten Anomaly

Right Resources Limited (ASX:RRE) has revealed a major expansion of its Blue tungsten prospect near Tumbarumba, New South Wales, with the geochemical anomaly now measuring 4.7 kilometres by 3.4 kilometres. This represents a more than 320% increase in the target area following the second phase of systematic soil sampling using portable XRF (pXRF) technology, which continues to return tungsten concentrations exceeding ten times background levels.

The anomaly remains open in all directions, with coincident enrichments in bismuth and molybdenum further supporting the prospect's potential. The company has focused recent sampling on the eastern and southern extents, with plans to test northern and western extensions in upcoming phases.

High-Grade Mineralisation Confirmed at Surface

Complementing the broad soil anomaly, Right Resources has confirmed high-grade tungsten mineralisation through rock chip sampling. Previous assays reported tungsten oxide (WO3) grades as high as 4.3%, equivalent to 34,600 ppm tungsten, from outcrop and subcrop samples. Field mapping has identified multiple vein zones containing primary tungsten minerals such as scheelite and wolframite, as well as other tungsten oxides including tungstite, meymacite, and stolzite.

While rock chip samples are selective and not necessarily representative of average grades across the entire prospect, their presence within the expanded anomaly footprint bolsters confidence in the system's economic potential. The mineralisation is hosted within a granodiorite intrusive package featuring quartz and quartz-tourmaline veins up to 40 centimetres wide, extending over tens of metres.

Maiden Metallurgical Testwork Underway

In a crucial step towards assessing the viability of the Blue tungsten system, the company has collected its maiden metallurgical sample from surface outcrop material. Approximately 50 kilograms of representative rock were gathered for testwork, which is currently underway in Perth. This program aims to evaluate tungsten recovery characteristics, a key factor in determining the economic feasibility of future development.

Photographs of the sample material under short-wave ultraviolet light display characteristic bright blue fluorescence of scheelite, confirming the presence of tungsten minerals. Assay results from the metallurgical samples are pending, with the company committed to releasing updates as stages of testwork are completed.

Expansion of Tenure and Exploration Model Validation

Right Resources has also secured a new exploration licence, EL9922 (Rosewood), granted on 29 May 2026. This addition expands the company's tenure in the Tumbarumba region to 2,261 square kilometres and 2,459 square kilometres across New South Wales, securing ground along a highly prospective corridor south and west of Tumbarumba.

The ongoing exploration success at Blue supports the company's preliminary Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold System (RIRGS) model, developed in collaboration with the Centre for Ore Deposit and Earth Sciences (CODES) at the University of Tasmania. The model anticipates a metal zonation pattern with tungsten and bismuth proximal to intrusion-related hydrothermal systems, consistent with the observed geochemical signatures.

Next Steps in Defining the Tungsten System

Right Resources plans to continue systematic soil sampling and geological mapping to delineate the full extent of the anomaly, particularly targeting northern and western extensions on EL9028 and EL9889. Assay results from outcrop samples feeding into the metallurgical program are awaited, alongside follow-up geophysical surveys and subsurface interpretations aimed at identifying drill targets.

Permitting processes for drill testing are advancing, with the company anticipating initial results from CODES' broader Tumbarumba district analysis following review. The combination of large-scale geochemical anomalies, high-grade surface mineralisation, and advancing metallurgical understanding positions the Blue prospect as a compelling critical minerals target within Right Resources' portfolio.
