Duketon Mining Limited (ASX:DKM) has unveiled compelling assay results from its maiden drilling campaign at the 100%-owned Barlee Gold Project in Western Australia. The standout intercept comes from the Gromit Prospect, where a reverse circulation drill hole returned 30 metres at 1.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, including a higher-grade core of 9 metres at 2.4g/t. The company is now planning to expand UFF coverage across the remaining 40 square kilometres of granted tenure as well as newly applied-for ground to the south, which extends the prospective strike length to approximately 45 kilometres.

He highlighted the potential to rapidly expand mineralisation footprints at all three prospects and described the project as "a highly prospective new gold district."
