Drilling Progress at Golden Gate South

Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML) has reported solid progress on its 2026 drilling campaign at the Golden Gate South Prospect within its Horse Heaven Antimony-Tungsten-Gold-Silver Project in Idaho, USA. Sixteen diamond core holes have been completed, totaling 4,470 metres; about one third of the planned 13,700-metre program. The average hole depth is approximately 279 metres, with all holes drilled to their planned total depths.

The drilling uses two Multipower MP1500 modular core rigs, and the program aims to test extensions of gold and tungsten mineralisation along strike and at depth. The company is targeting both the known gold mineralisation zones and tungsten anomalies near the historical Golden Gate Tungsten mine workings.

Core Logging and Sample Dispatch

All drilled core from the completed holes has been logged in detail, recording geology, alteration, and mineralisation. Core orientation was conducted using the ACTxCore system, and scheelite, the tungsten ore mineral, has been identified and documented where present. Two large batches of core samples, including those from the first four holes, have been dispatched for multi-element analysis, with assay results pending.

Craig Lindsay, Resolution’s CEO of US Operations, commented on the drilling pace and data collection, noting that the company is up to date with logging and sampling and is looking forward to receiving assay results. This update follows earlier announcements indicating strong sulphide mineralisation and alteration in initial drill holes, consistent with known gold and tungsten zones.

Golden Gate lies within the broader Horse Heaven project, which covers 729 federal lode mining claims across 14,580 acres. It is immediately adjacent to Perpetua Resources’ recently permitted Stibnite Gold Project, a large antimony-gold development. The proximity to a permitted project underlines the strategic potential of the area for critical minerals.

Resolution Minerals’ drilling program also aligns with recent positive regulatory developments, including the Antimony Ridge project receiving FAST-41 transparency coverage from the US Permitting Council, which could accelerate permitting processes for critical minerals projects in the region.

The current drilling campaign is ongoing, with up to 45 holes planned across Golden Gate North and South to fully define the scale and extent of gold and tungsten mineralisation. While no assay results are included in this update, the dispatched samples from initial holes are expected to provide critical data for resource evaluation.
