LiDAR Survey Boosts Exploration Data at Hook Lake

Manhattan Gold Corporation Limited (ASX:MHC) has completed a high-resolution LiDAR and orthophoto survey across its extensive Hook Lake Project in Nunavut, Canada. By leveraging a specialist survey aircraft already operating in the region, the company significantly cut mobilisation costs, securing detailed terrain data at a fraction of the usual expense. The LiDAR collected at 10 pulses per square metre, paired with 10-15cm resolution orthophotos, promises to enhance structural interpretation, drill targeting, and future engineering studies.

Maiden Channel Sampling at Vanquish Prospect

Complementing the remote sensing work, Manhattan's field team completed the first-ever channel and rock chip sampling at the Vanquish prospect. Forty-seven samples were gathered, focusing on quartz-veined, sulphide-bearing mafic volcanic and quartz-gabbro rocks disrupted by shear zones, key lithologies for gold mineralisation. These samples are now en route to the laboratory, with assay results anticipated in the coming weeks. This surface sampling aims to confirm and expand on historic results that included grades up to 5.75 grams per tonne gold over 1.5 metres.

Drilling Commences at Jaws Target

Manhattan has mobilised its reverse circulation (RC) drill rig to the Jaws target within the Hook Lake Project, marking a pivotal shift from target definition to active drill testing. Initial drill pads are constructed, and drilling is underway to confirm and extend historic mineralisation zones. The Jaws target has been a focus due to its previously identified high-grade gold potential, and this drilling campaign is expected to provide crucial data to support resource development. Additional drill pads will be developed as the program progresses across the project area.
