  • No guaranteed revenue; projects awarded individually
  • Tender pipeline exceeds $6 million across 20+ submissions
  • Strategic validation of Learnt Group and Catapult acquisitions

Catapult Education Wins Multi-Year TAFE SA Contract

AdNeo Limited’s education arm, Catapult Education, has secured a significant three-year Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) with TAFE South Australia (TAFE SA), positioning the company as an approved supplier of vocational education content development services. The contract, which can be extended by three additional one-year options to 2031, is a key win for AdNeo’s strategy to build a leading education and workforce technology platform following its recent acquisitions.

TAFE SA, South Australia’s largest vocational education provider and Australia’s 2024 Large Training Provider of the Year, will engage Catapult Education on a project-by-project basis. Initial work is expected to begin in the first half of FY27, focusing on content development for the newly established National Centres of Excellence in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) and National Security, funded through a combined $56 million from federal and state governments.

No Minimum Revenue Commitment, Project-Based Awards

The SOA does not guarantee minimum revenue or volume, with TAFE SA issuing project briefs and inviting quotations across generic and specialised content writing services. Catapult will submit project plans and fixed-price quotes for each engagement, with awards dependent on the number and value of projects commissioned throughout the contract term.

This structure means revenue visibility remains uncertain, hinging on successful project wins. However, the appointment validates AdNeo’s capability to compete for large-scale government education contracts and leverage its comprehensive suite of education-focused businesses, including content development, learning technology, student management, and data analytics.

Strategic Importance of the TAFE SA Appointment

Catapult Education brings over 35 years of vocational education and training (VET) content development experience, including a vast library of more than 1,800 units of competency and a 15-year industry partnership in the ECEC sector. Its longstanding South Australian presence and proven government delivery record add weight to the appointment’s significance.

The contract also underscores the strategic rationale behind AdNeo’s August 2025 acquisition of Learnt Group, which expanded its client base by over 600 and added approximately 5,000 units of competency. This deal bolstered AdNeo’s content library to one of the largest in Australia’s vocational education market.

Robust Tender Pipeline Fuels Growth Ambitions

Beyond the TAFE SA contract, AdNeo reports an active tender pipeline exceeding $6 million across more than 20 submissions, primarily targeting government, enterprise, TAFE, and university clients. Management aims for disciplined conversion of this pipeline, though outcomes will depend on tender timing and client decisions.

Recent contract wins, including a $187,546 deal with the Queensland Human Rights Commission, highlight ongoing momentum in government education services and reinforce the company’s expanding footprint in the sector. This growing pipeline complements AdNeo’s broader strategy to deepen its presence across education and workforce markets.

Bottom Line?

AdNeo’s TAFE SA contract marks a strategic foothold in government vocational education, but revenue will depend on project awards amid a competitive tender landscape.

Questions in the middle?

  • How quickly will Catapult Education convert SOA opportunities into revenue-generating projects?
  • What impact will the expanding tender pipeline have on AdNeo’s financial performance in FY27?
  • Can AdNeo leverage its integrated education platform to secure further large-scale government contracts?
