Salix Platform Activation Drives Early Revenue at NGHS
Artrya Limited (ASX:AYA) has taken a significant step in commercialising its AI-powered Salix platform with the system now live and generating revenue at Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS). The platform’s deployment at one of NGHS’s five hospitals marks Artrya’s second U.S. commercial customer actively using the technology in clinical practice.
The Salix platform, designed to assess coronary artery disease through real-time analysis of coronary CT scans, is currently integrated with the Georgia Heart Institute’s cardiologists who are incorporating its outputs into routine diagnostics. This clinical adoption follows months of integration and training, reflecting growing confidence in the product.
Revenue Model Combines SaaS and Fee-Per-Scan Streams
Artrya’s commercial model is now delivering tangible returns, with the Salix Coronary Anatomy module licensed as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform generating monthly subscription fees. Complementing this, the Salix Coronary Plaque module is producing fee-per-scan revenue as it analyses CCTA scans for patients with suspected or confirmed coronary artery disease.
The company anticipates activating the Salix Coronary Flow module for clinical use once it receives FDA clearance, which will add another fee-per-scan revenue stream. This phased rollout of modules underpins a diversified revenue base aligned with clinical adoption.
Expansion Plans and Market Positioning
Following the initial site launch, Artrya plans to expand the Salix platform across all five hospitals within the NGHS network. This broader rollout aims to deepen clinical engagement and increase scan volumes processed through the platform.
CEO John Konstantopoulos highlighted the team’s efforts in integrating Salix and training clinicians, expressing optimism about adoption growth and the upcoming Cone Health launch. This aligns with Artrya’s broader U.S. commercialisation strategy, which includes three foundation partners moving towards full commercial status.
Bottom Line?
Artrya’s live deployment and revenue generation at NGHS mark a critical commercial milestone, but the timing of full network rollout and FDA clearance for the Coronary Flow module will be key to sustaining momentum.
