Commercial Launch Marks Shift to Revenue Generation
Yojee Limited (ASX:YOJ) has officially transitioned its proprietary MOSAIC freight forwarding and customs platform from pre-commercial validation into a formal commercial rollout during the June quarter. This milestone shifts the company’s trajectory from system testing to active market commercialisation, with nine commercial contracts now signed and four customers live and processing shipments in production.
Chief Executive Officer Mark Connell emphasised the significance of this development, noting that the company now has a “clear, contracted path to revenue rather than a target on a slide.” The commercial contracts include two Everest Founding Partners, who have committed to 36-month terms at locked founder rates, providing a foundation for predictable revenue streams as customers reach their billing dates.
Founding Partner Program Accelerates Market Adoption
To accelerate early market traction, Yojee launched the ANZ Founding Partner Program with two tiers: Everest, limited to four major forwarders per region, and Ignition, for up to 25 SMEs. The Everest tier has secured two founding partners; a well-established Australian freight forwarder and customs broker, and the Australian division of a large multinational freight consolidator. Notably, one partner transitioned from a Beta participant to a multi-year commercial contract, validating MOSAIC’s real-world utility.
The Founding Partner Program offers founder pricing, most-favoured-customer protections, and a formal voice in the product roadmap, aiming to build a committed and referenceable customer base. The commercial launch and partner commitments position Yojee ahead of its internal forecasts on client signings following the MOSAIC rollout.
Strategic AI Roadmap Targets Autonomous Operations
Beyond the commercial launch, Yojee outlined a comprehensive AI product and engineering roadmap designed to evolve MOSAIC from a passive software platform into a highly automated Logistics Operating System. This vision includes agentic AI and autonomous workflow teammates, aiming to transform freight forwarding and customs operations through automation and intelligent orchestration.
This strategic direction was reinforced by Chief Product Officer Shane D’Aprile’s participation as a panellist on “The Future of AI in Our Industry” at the International Forwarders & Customs Brokers Association of Australia conference. The event provided valuable industry validation and generated a strong pipeline of prospective customers interested in next-generation freight software.
TCMS Platform Growth Supports Stable Revenue Base
Alongside MOSAIC, Yojee’s existing Transport Carrier Management System (TCMS) platform continues to scale with enterprise customers expanding across additional regions and sites. Transaction volumes are tracking positively, reinforcing TCMS as a stable, high-margin revenue contributor that complements the MOSAIC commercial ramp-up.
Financial Position Reflects Increased Investment and Timing Effects
Yojee closed the quarter with $3.4 million in cash and no debt, following the conversion of existing options that raised $862.8k. Net operating cash outflows increased to $956.3k, reflecting higher engineering headcount and ongoing platform development ahead of commercialisation. Cash receipts for the quarter declined 23.1% to $85k, a timing effect rather than a sign of weaker sales, which actually increased 23% over the prior period.
The company invested $1.11 million in MOSAIC development during the quarter, bringing the year-to-date investment to $2.9 million. Yojee continues to participate in the R&D Tax Incentive program to generate refundable cash offsets for its engineering and innovation activities.
Bottom Line?
Yojee’s commercial launch of MOSAIC and early partner commitments set a tangible revenue foundation, but the pace of onboarding and execution of its AI roadmap will be critical to watch.
Questions in the middle?
- How quickly will the remaining signed customers transition to live billing and scale transaction volumes?
- What tangible benefits and efficiencies will MOSAIC’s agentic AI deliver in early deployments?
- Can Yojee sustain its investment in platform development while progressing towards positive operating cash flow?
