Top Camp Drilling Reveals Deep and High-Grade Gold Zones

CZR Resources Ltd (ASX:CZR) has unveiled a fresh batch of reverse circulation (RC) drilling results from its 6,000-metre program at the Top Camp prospect within the Croydon Gold Project, Western Australia. The latest assays confirm significant gold mineralisation extending to 220 metres below surface and now stretching over 700 metres along strike, with the deposit remaining open in all directions.

Highlighting the results is a standout 1-metre intercept grading 19.9 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from just 21 metres downhole, the highest single-metre grade recorded so far in this 2026 campaign. This near-surface high-grade zone is interpreted as structurally controlled gold vein mineralisation, adding a compelling target for follow-up drilling.

Wider Mineralised Zones Confirmed at Depth

Deeper drilling has also delivered encouraging widths of mineralisation, including 18 metres at 1.10 g/t gold from 294 metres within a broader 26-metre zone at 0.86 g/t, and 9 metres at 1.18 g/t from 297 metres. These intercepts, among the deepest to date at Top Camp, align with the geological interpretation that gold mineralisation follows north-plunging fold hinges and northeast-trending shear zones.

With nineteen of thirty-two holes reported, the program is progressively defining a mineralised system of significant strike and depth extent. Acting CEO Milan Jerkovic noted that four recent diamond holes, with results pending, will provide structural insights to better understand gold geometry and controls.

Broader Exploration and Metallurgical Work Underway

Beyond Top Camp, the RC rig has completed drilling at the Bottom Camp and Murph prospects, while an extensive aircore program has commenced to test covered areas for Hemi-style targets, a nod to the nearby large-scale Hemi deposit owned by Northern Star Resources. Metallurgical samples from Top Camp have been dispatched for initial testwork, a key step toward understanding processing characteristics.

Meanwhile, results from a 1,741-metre aircore program at the Yarrie Project, located about 160 kilometres east of Port Hedland, found no significant gold, iron, or base metal anomalies. Geological logging confirmed multiple felsic to mafic intrusive phases, and further interpretation is ongoing to assess prospectivity.

Next Steps Include Diamond Drilling and Regional Surveys

CZR plans to resume RC drilling at the Martin copper-zinc-gold prospect following a heritage survey scheduled for August. This survey will also clear regional lines for further drill testing. Additionally, LiDAR surveying is underway at the Yarraloola project to target iron deposit potential. Work plans for Yarraloola, Buddadoo, and Yarrie are expected in the second half of 2026.

The Croydon Gold Project is strategically positioned approximately 50 kilometres southwest of the 13.2 million ounce Hemi gold deposit, underscoring the regional potential. CZR’s ongoing exploration efforts, combined with a robust cash position and recent corporate activity, suggest the company is well placed to advance its Pilbara portfolio.
