District-Scale Uranium Platform Established in Northern Territory

Greenvale Energy (ASX:GRV) has significantly expanded its uranium exploration presence in the Northern Territory by entering a binding term sheet to acquire uranium rights to the Pine Creek Uranium Project from Patronus Resources (ASX:PTN). This strategic move consolidates Greenvale’s existing Douglas River tenure with the new assets, creating the Thunderball Uranium Project; a contiguous 2,466 square kilometre footprint in a historically prolific uranium province.

The Pine Creek acquisition brings with it the high-grade Thunderball Uranium Deposit and a series of advanced prospects along the Hayes Creek Fault Zone, a key structural corridor controlling mineralisation. Recent drilling by Patronus confirmed exceptional uranium grades at Thunderball, including intercepts of 10 metres at 25,381 ppm U3O8 and 13 metres at 7,045 ppm U3O8, underscoring the project's exploration potential.

Airborne Survey Launches 2026 Field Season

Complementing this, the Northern Territory Geological Survey has awarded Greenvale a matched funding grant of up to $132,000 to support a proposed airborne electromagnetic survey over the same area, further boosting exploration resolution.

Alpha Project Advances Product Development

In Queensland, Greenvale’s Alpha Project continues to progress through its product development pathway. Following successful bulk pressure leach production at Monash University, samples underwent detailed characterisation by Technix in New Zealand. Initial findings identified elevated volatile hydrocarbons, which were effectively removed through distillation, enabling the product to meet flash point specifications under AS/NZS 2341.143.

While penetration tests aligned with C-170 bitumen standards, viscosity at elevated temperatures fell short. Technix has recommended further processing via its Multistage Bitumen Process to enhance these properties, a phase Greenvale has commenced post-quarter. This work is critical given Australia's tightening bitumen supply and reliance on imports, positioning Alpha as a potentially strategic domestic source.

Financial Position and Corporate Updates

Greenvale ended the quarter with approximately A$1.8 million in cash and cash equivalents. Shortly after quarter-end, the company completed a capital raising securing A$3.35 million before costs, including a $3.25 million placement to institutional and sophisticated investors and a $100,000 commitment from directors, subject to shareholder approval. These funds are earmarked to accelerate uranium exploration, particularly at Thunderball.

Exploration expenditure during the quarter was around A$235,000, predominantly focused on uranium, while R&D spend on the Alpha Project reached A$250,000, with a tax rebate claim underway. The company reported no mining production or development activities during the period.

On the corporate front, Greenvale appointed Ms Carla Healy as Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer and relocated its registered office to West Perth, maintaining its operational focus and governance structure.
