Revenue Momentum Despite Supply Chain Headwinds

Bubs Australia (ASX:BUB) closed FY26 with a solid 11.2% increase in net revenue for the fourth quarter, reaching $30.9 million compared to $27.8 million in Q4 FY25. This growth pushed full-year net revenue to $111.9 million, landing comfortably within the company’s previously guided range of $105 million to $115 million. CEO Joe Coote highlighted that the company finished the year with positive momentum despite a challenging environment.

Resolving Regulatory and Logistics Challenges

The year was marked by a series of operational obstacles including regulatory delays, extended product release timelines, and increased air freight usage due to customs clearance complexities. By the end of Q4, Bubs reported these issues had been largely resolved, resulting in improved product flows and completion of an inventory build. The company’s inventory stood at $35.7 million at quarter-end, positioning it to support growth across key markets including Australia, the United States, and China.

Cash Flow and Liquidity Position

Bubs held $9.4 million in cash at 30 June 2026, supplemented by $10 million in undrawn debt facilities, providing total available liquidity of $19.4 million. The net operating cash outflow narrowed to $2.5 million in Q4 from $6.3 million in the prior quarter, supported by $30.2 million in cash receipts from customers. During the quarter, the company allocated $22.3 million to product manufacturing and operating costs, $3.5 million to marketing, $3.1 million to staff costs, and $3 million to administration and corporate expenses. The company also drew down an additional $6 million under its financing facilities.

FDA Review Nearing Completion

Bubs continues its engagement with the US Food and Drug Administration, with the review process advancing through its final stages. While no definitive outcome was disclosed, progress with the FDA remains a critical factor for the company’s expansion in the US market, which has been a significant growth driver in recent periods.

Looking Ahead to FY27

The company is set to release its full FY26 results on 27 August 2026, accompanied by a webcast briefing. Investors will be watching closely for insights on how Bubs plans to leverage its improved supply chain position and regulatory progress to drive growth in FY27. The resolution of prior operational bottlenecks marks a turning point, but the sustainability of revenue momentum and the FDA approval outcome remain key variables for the year ahead.

Bottom Line?

Bubs has cleared significant operational hurdles and finished FY26 with healthy revenue growth and liquidity, but the final FDA decision and execution on growth plans will shape its trajectory in FY27.
