Legal Victory Reinforces Compensation Rights
On the legal front, the Singapore International Commercial Court has dismissed Poland’s application to set aside GreenX’s Energy Charter Treaty award, which granted GreenX approximately £252 million (A$480 million) in compensation. Poland’s appeal against this dismissal is scheduled for hearing in September 2026, after which no further appeals will be available in Singapore. GreenX has also secured reimbursement of A$1.6 million in legal costs from Poland.
