Bulletin Resources Confirms Concealed Gold Anomalies at Lake Rebecca

Bulletin Resources has confirmed anomalous gold values beneath transported cover at its Lake Rebecca Gold Project and launched extensive geophysical and soil sampling programs, supported by a strong cash position of AUD 13.5 million.

  • Anomalous gold values confirmed in transported cover at Chifley Prospect
  • Geophysical surveys and ultra-fine soil sampling underway across multiple targets
  • 800m strike of high-grade hematite lag identified at reconnaissance target
  • Senior Geologist appointed to lead exploration activities

Gold Anomalies Confirmed Beneath Lake Rebecca

Bulletin Resources (ASX:BNR) has reinforced the prospectivity of its Lake Rebecca Gold Project with new assay results confirming anomalous gold values beneath transported cover at the Chifley Prospect. Detailed 1m assays from three drill holes validated earlier composite samples, revealing gold values up to 0.13 g/t within transported saprolite. This suggests a concealed basement gold target beneath lake sediments, a challenge that Bulletin aims to tackle with further geophysical surveys and drilling.

Expanding Exploration with Geophysics and Sampling

The company has initiated a comprehensive exploration program including 15 line kilometres of dipole-dipole induced polarisation (IP) surveys, 2,000 gravity stations, and 700 ultra-fine soil samples targeting 10 priority gold targets. The IP surveys are designed to detect disseminated sulphides associated with orogenic gold mineralisation, while the gravity survey aims to delineate key lithostructural zones. Ultra-fine soil sampling, proven effective at Chifley despite transported cover, is underway to refine target vectors for follow-up drilling.

Reconnaissance Identifies High-Grade Hematite Lag

Reconnaissance mapping uncovered an 800-metre strike extent of patchy hematite lag with iron grades exceeding 59% Fe at target RP11. Three rock chip samples returned iron values above 57%, indicating hydrothermal alteration of banded iron formation along a major fault. While the significance of this iron enrichment remains to be determined, it adds a new dimension to Bulletin's exploration pipeline, warranting further mapping and sampling.

Strengthening Technical Team and Financial Position

To oversee these ambitious exploration activities, Bulletin appointed Blake Collins as Senior Geologist during the quarter. Collins will manage exploration programs and project generation, bolstering the company’s internal technical capability. Financially, Bulletin remains well positioned with cash and liquid investments totalling AUD 13.5 million at quarter-end, providing a runway of over 24 quarters at current expenditure levels. Exploration spend for the quarter was AUD 145,000, reflecting a disciplined approach to advancing targets.

Lithium Project Work Continues

Beyond gold, Bulletin's Ravensthorpe Lithium Project, located near Rio Tinto’s Mt Cattlin mine, saw additional work aimed at refining future directions for its high-grade spodumene pegmatites. While details remain preliminary, this effort underscores Bulletin’s intent to diversify its exploration portfolio.

Bottom Line?

Bulletin Resources is methodically advancing concealed gold targets at Lake Rebecca with solid financial backing, but the true test will be whether upcoming geophysical data and drilling can pinpoint an economic deposit beneath the transported cover.

Questions in the middle?

  • Will the planned passive seismic survey at Chifley effectively map the transported cover to guide drilling?
  • What is the potential scale and continuity of the hematite lag zone discovered at RP11?
  • How will Bulletin prioritise targets as geophysical and soil sampling data come in over the coming quarters?
