Strike Length Nearly Quadrupled at Manyingee North

Cauldron Energy Limited (ASX:CXU) has dramatically expanded the known extent of uranium mineralisation at its Manyingee North Deposit within the Yanrey Uranium Project in Western Australia. The latest results from 13 new drillholes confirm that uranium mineralisation now extends approximately 2,500 metres further north and 550 metres to the south, tripling the strike length to around 4 kilometres. This extension significantly increases the footprint of the deposit beyond the 2025 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) boundary.

Mineralisation Spans Full Width of Palaeochannel

Importantly, drilling has verified that uranium mineralisation occurs across the entire width of the Manyingee North palaeochannel, now confirmed to be at least 1,200 metres wide, the limit of current drilling. Every one of the 44 holes drilled on the E08/1489 tenement during the 2025 and 2026 campaigns intersected mineralisation above the cut-off grade, underscoring the pervasive nature of the deposit. The mineralised zone remains open in all directions, with exploration data suggesting the palaeochannel, and associated uranium mineralisation, extends for several kilometres further north.

Inferred Mineral Resource Holds 9.8 Million Pounds U3O8

The Manyingee North Deposit currently hosts an Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 14.9 million tonnes grading 297 ppm eU3O8, equating to 9.8 million pounds of uranium oxide. This resource was defined from the 2025 drilling program, with the 2026 step-out drilling expected to add further tonnes and grade continuity. The deposit’s mineralisation occurs primarily within gravelly coarse sands of the Ashburton Member, beneath a consistent carbonaceous clay marker bed, at depths greater than 90 metres. Notably, two high-grade zones have been identified: a central elongate zone approximately 300–400 metres wide, and pockets of thicker mineralisation along the channel margins.

Yanrey Project Emerges as Globally Significant Uranium Province

Cauldron’s Yanrey Uranium Project now boasts over 55 million pounds of uranium oxide across three deposits: Bennet Well (30.9 Mlbs), Manyingee South (14.9 Mlbs), and Manyingee North (9.8 Mlbs). This complements adjacent deposits held by Paladin Energy, including the Manyingee and Carley Bore deposits, bringing the broader Yanrey Uranium Province’s known uranium inventory close to 100 million pounds. The project covers an 80-kilometre stretch of Cretaceous palaeochannels, with more than 30 yet-to-be-tested channels identified as prospective for uranium mineralisation.

Ongoing Drilling and Exploration to Unlock Further Potential

The 2026 drilling campaign remains underway, with plans for approximately 5,000 metres of aircore drilling at Manyingee North, 4,000 metres at Manyingee South, and 1,000 metres at the Cosgrove Prospect. Recent passive seismic surveys have refined the understanding of buried palaeochannels, guiding targeted drilling and revealing new exploration opportunities. Cauldron’s CEO Jonathan Fisher highlighted the strong start to the program, noting that mineralisation has been extended to a 4-kilometre strike and 1,200-metre width, with several additional drill lines cleared for testing. The company is also eager to advance exploration at other high-priority targets to identify the next major uranium deposit in the region.

Technical Insights into Deposit Geology and Mineralisation Style

The Manyingee North Deposit lies within a distinct northward-trending branch of the Manyingee palaeochannel, approximately 4 kilometres northeast of Paladin’s Manyingee deposit. Unlike Manyingee South, the mineralisation here is hosted in more marine-influenced sediments with reduced conditions and lacks the oxidation seen further south. The deposit’s geometry is currently interpreted as tabular but may exhibit roll-front characteristics given the spatial relationship of high-grade zones and redox boundaries. Drilling to date has not encountered the palaeochannel margins, with geophysical surveys estimating the channel width between 2,000 and 2,500 metres.

Significant Drill Intersections Confirm Robust Grade Continuity

Recent drillholes have returned consistent uranium grades, including standout intervals such as 2.58 metres at 637.6 ppm eU3O8 from hole 26YRAC023 and 2.66 metres at 282.5 ppm eU3O8 from 26YRAC024. These results reinforce the continuity of mineralisation at depth and across the palaeochannel. The drilling program employs downhole gamma logging to estimate uranium grades, with planned diamond core drilling later in 2026 to validate and supplement the aircore data.
