Antipa Minerals Strengthens Telfer-Style Reef Potential at Tim’s Dome

Antipa Minerals has uncovered extensive gold-copper-lead-silver mineralisation over 500 metres at Tim’s Dome, directly above a large untested electromagnetic conductor, positioning it as a priority target for imminent diamond drilling.

  • Broad gold-copper-lead-silver mineralisation at Tim’s Dome over 500m strike
  • Large 1.2km long airborne electromagnetic conductor remains untested
  • Diamond drilling at Tim’s Dome scheduled to start mid-August
  • New 2km gold-copper anomaly defined at AL01 warrants further RC drilling
  • Strong growth and geotechnical results extend Minyari Dome and WACA resources

Tim’s Dome Emerges as a Key Telfer-Style Target

Antipa Minerals Ltd (ASX:AZY) has delivered a compelling update from its Phase 1 CY2026 drilling campaign at the Minyari Gold-Copper Project in Western Australia’s Paterson Province. The standout is Tim’s Dome, where reverse circulation drilling has intersected broad gold-copper-lead-silver mineralisation extending over approximately 500 metres of strike. This mineralisation sits directly above a substantial, yet untested, airborne electromagnetic (AEM) conductor stretching 1.2 kilometres and measuring between 200 to 470 metres wide, lying roughly 50 to 100 metres below current drilling depths.

The geological setting and metal associations at Tim’s Dome align with characteristics of the nearby Telfer gold-copper mine, operated by Greatland Resources, located just 11 kilometres away. Antipa interprets the mineralisation as the upper expression of a larger Telfer-style reef system, a prospect that has yielded around 5 million ounces of gold historically from its oxidised and leached cap. The presence of lead mineralisation in the latest assays further supports this intrusion-related system model.

Among the highlights are individual one-metre reverse circulation samples grading up to 6.31 g/t gold, 1.33% copper, 1.84% lead, and 2.27 g/t silver. The company plans to commence diamond tail drilling from select RC holes by mid-August to test the large AEM conductor directly, a move that could unlock significant upside if the conductor hosts high-grade mineralisation at depth.

New Gold-Copper Anomaly at AL01 Warrants Follow-Up

Beyond Tim’s Dome, Antipa’s broad-spaced air core drilling at AL01, located 17 kilometres north of Minyari, has defined a coherent 2-kilometre-long gold-copper anomaly. Although grades are modest, with intersections such as 26 metres at 0.08 g/t gold and 183 ppm copper, the scale and continuity of the anomaly warrant follow-up reverse circulation drilling to better understand its potential.

Pending assay results from further air core holes at AL01 and the nearby Yolanda copper trend are expected to inform the next phase of drilling, underscoring ongoing exploration momentum across multiple greenfield targets within the 4,500 km² Minyari Project area.

Growth and Geotechnical Drilling Extend Known Resources

Growth drilling at Minyari Dome continues to add to the existing 2.5 million ounce gold Mineral Resource, with GEO-01 South returning notable intersections such as 12 metres at 1.3 g/t gold and 0.08% copper. Geotechnical diamond drilling at WACA returned an impressive 114 metres at 0.8 g/t gold and 0.24% copper from near surface, including high-grade intervals with over 11 g/t gold and 9.6% copper.

These results not only extend mineralisation but also support mining studies and development plans, with the Pre-Feasibility Study underway and metallurgical test work confirming the potential for conventional processing routes.

Active Drilling and Strategic Positioning in Paterson Province

Antipa has three rigs actively drilling at Tim’s Dome, WACA, and Chicken Ranch, pursuing both discovery and resource growth objectives. The company’s 2026 drilling program is fully funded, including a WA Government Exploration Incentive Scheme grant supporting diamond drilling at Tim’s Dome.

Strategically, Minyari sits in a prolific corridor hosting Greatland Resources’ Telfer Mine, the Havieron development project, Rio Tinto-Sumitomo’s Winu deposit, and other significant gold-copper-silver projects. Antipa’s 100%-owned Minyari Project hosts a total Mineral Resource of 2.9 million ounces gold, 91,000 tonnes copper, 880,000 ounces silver, and 13,000 tonnes cobalt, positioning it as a notable player in this world-class mineral province.

Managing Director Roger Mason emphasised the significance of the Tim’s Dome results, noting the firming of this target as a priority for follow-up drilling and the potential to define a substantial Telfer-style reef system. The imminent diamond drilling will be crucial to testing the large AEM conductor and could significantly advance the project’s development trajectory.

Bottom Line?

Diamond drilling at Tim’s Dome will be pivotal in confirming the scale and grade of this emerging Telfer-style system, setting the stage for potential resource upgrades and development decisions.

Questions in the middle?

  • Will the upcoming diamond drilling at Tim’s Dome confirm high-grade mineralisation within the large AEM conductor?
  • How will the pending assay results from AL01 and Yolanda influence Antipa’s drilling priorities and resource growth plans?
  • What implications do the broad mineralisation zones at WACA and GEO-01 South have for the Minyari Project’s overall development strategy?
