Drilling Unveils Larger Nanadie Copper-Gold System

Solstice Minerals (ASX:SLS) has delivered another tranche of compelling copper-gold assay results from its 100%-owned Nanadie Project in Western Australia’s Goldfields. Nine out of ten recent Reverse Circulation (RC) drill holes returned significant copper intercepts, including standout hits of 51 metres at 1.03% copper and 0.29 g/t gold from 194 metres, and 97 metres at 0.57% copper and 0.16 g/t gold from 173 metres. These results continue to push mineralisation well beyond the boundaries of the existing Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 40.4 million tonnes at 0.4% copper and 0.1 g/t gold.

Diamond Drilling Confirms Extensive Mineralised Footprint

Complementing the RC drilling, diamond tails extending from the RC pre-collars have reinforced the scale of the system. The first diamond tail, NANRCD004, returned a remarkable combined intercept of 629.1 metres at 0.50% copper and 0.17 g/t gold from surface to end of hole, including multiple zones exceeding 1% copper. Visual observations from follow-up diamond hole NANRCD005 also indicate strong mineralisation extending approximately 500 metres below the current MRE boundary, underscoring the deposit’s depth potential.

Geological Consistency and Expansion Along Strike

The mineralised system remains open-ended along a strike length of approximately 1.2 kilometres and at depth, with a deposit width between 100 to 200 metres. The eastern margin of the host gabbro body is emerging as a higher-grade corridor, with several drill holes intersecting mineralisation beyond the current MRE boundary or at grades higher than modelled. Most recent holes were drilled as pre-collars for deeper diamond tails, highlighting the potential for further resource growth as assays from over 40 pending RC and diamond holes are released.

Strong Financial Position Supports Aggressive Drilling

Solstice enters the next phase of exploration well-funded, with approximately $45 million in cash and no debt. Multiple rigs are currently operating to systematically test depth, strike, and lateral extensions of the mineralised footprint. The company’s CEO, Nick Castleden, emphasised the strategic importance of Nanadie within WA’s premier Goldfields jurisdiction and the potential for a material expansion of the resource over time. The granted mining lease and favourable location add to the project’s appeal as a significant copper-gold system.

Next Steps in Resource Growth and Exploration

With assays pending from a substantial pipeline of drill holes, Solstice aims to refine its geological model and increase drill density, particularly across the eastern margin corridor. The company is also applying geophysical techniques such as induced polarisation and downhole electromagnetic surveys to identify high-priority targets beyond the current resource.
