BPM Minerals Ltd (ASX:BPM) has commenced the largest exploration program in its history, launching a 20,000m reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign across the Forelands Gold Project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields. The program is split evenly between 10,000m of resource definition drilling at the Beachcomber Prospect and a further 10,000m planned at the Bonnie & Clyde Prospect, pending regulatory approvals.
The Beachcomber drilling has started, focusing on infill and extensional RC holes designed to support a maiden JORC (2012) compliant Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). The Forelands project benefits from its strategic position along the Yilgarn Craton–Albany Fraser Orogen margin, analogous to the nearby +8 million ounce Tropicana gold deposit. Its proximity to existing and proposed mills within 200km offers potential commercialisation pathways through toll treatment options.
