Nanoveu Targets India’s Massive OTT Market with Glasses-Free 3D

Nanoveu Limited (ASX:NVU) has secured a US$300,000 pilot order to roll out its EyeFly3D™ glasses-free 3D mobile films across India through a newly signed OEM agreement with One Immersive Inc. The deal, executed via Nanoveu’s Hong Kong-based subsidiary Fullveu Technologies, aims to bring immersive 3D content to a major Indian OTT platform boasting over 100 million monthly active users.

This pilot phase, already partially funded with an initial US$165,000 deposit, will see EyeFly3D™ content distributed nationwide on both Apple and Android devices. One Immersive, a spatial computing technology company, has converted more than 5,000 hours of content using its proprietary 2D-to-3D offline conversion engine, priming the platform for a significant consumer rollout in 2026.

Strategic OEM Partnership and Market Access

The OEM agreement grants One Immersive exclusive rights to promote, brand, and distribute EyeFly3D™ products across India, contingent on achieving a minimum purchase of one million units within 18 months post-pilot. The partnership leverages One Immersive’s established relationships with a major OTT platform, creating a fast track for Nanoveu’s technology to penetrate one of the world’s largest smartphone markets.

India’s smartphone market is forecast to nearly double from USD 44.15 billion in 2023 to USD 88.99 billion by 2032, while its digital media market is expected to surge from USD 25.25 billion in 2024 to USD 132.01 billion by 2035. This growth trajectory presents a fertile ground for EyeFly3D™ to gain traction, especially as glasses-free 3D content remains a novelty in the region.

Manufacturing Readiness and Security Assurance

Fullveu Technologies has completed its pilot production run, demonstrating scalable manufacturing capacity. Parallel to production, the EyeFly3D™ software development kit (SDK) underwent a rigorous Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) audit, confirming no major security flaws or unauthorized data collection. This independent security validation positions EyeFly3D™ as one of the first glasses-free 3D SDKs with such certification, addressing enterprise concerns over data privacy and software integrity.

Nanoveu’s CEO Alfred Chong highlighted the significance of this launch, stating it “marks a major step forward” by introducing immersive mobile viewing to India’s vast population. He emphasised the commercial opportunity for rapid adoption and volume growth, potentially establishing a new category in mobile content consumption.

Pilot Outcome and Future Prospects

The pilot phase includes milestone-based tranches, with the final shipment expected by Q4 2026. Success will trigger further orders and solidify One Immersive’s exclusivity in India. The collaboration also involves developing at least one new app to integrate EyeFly3D™ technology, enhancing user accessibility on mobile platforms.

While the pilot’s success remains to be proven, the deal positions Nanoveu at the forefront of glasses-free 3D content delivery in a market ripe for innovation. The strategic partnership with One Immersive opens pathways not only for India but potentially for other high-growth digital media markets.

Bottom Line?

Nanoveu’s India pilot marks a critical test of its glasses-free 3D technology’s commercial viability in a booming market, with scalability and adoption milestones set to define its next growth phase.

Questions in the middle?

  • Will the pilot phase meet the milestones required to trigger exclusivity and larger orders?
  • How will Indian consumers respond to glasses-free 3D content on mobile devices?
  • Can Nanoveu leverage this partnership to expand into other emerging digital media markets?
