OD6 Advances US Market Access with OTCQB Quotation

OD6 Metals (ASX:OD6) has taken a strategic step to broaden its investor base by commencing the process to list its ordinary shares on the US OTCQB Venture Market. This move aims to enhance visibility and trading accessibility for North American investors while maintaining its primary listing on the ASX.

The company’s Managing Director Brett Hazelden emphasised that the OTCQB quotation aligns naturally with OD6’s increasing US footprint via its Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada. He highlighted growing interest from US investors attracted by the project's exceptional grades and strategic location within a critical mineral sector where the US remains fully dependent on imports.

Strategic Importance of Quinn Fluorspar Project

Located in Nevada, one of the world’s most mining-friendly jurisdictions, the Quinn Fluorspar Project offers OD6 direct exposure to a mineral deemed critical by the US government’s 2025 list. The US imports 100% of its fluorspar, a key ingredient in producing hydrofluoric acid, essential for advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, defence, and battery technologies.

OD6 holds 100% ownership of 226 mining claims covering approximately 1,890 hectares in a historically productive district. The project has demonstrated exceptionally high-grade fluorspar mineralisation, supporting potential production of premium Acidspar and Metspar products. Permitting and metallurgical testwork are progressing, aiming to optimise product quality and recovery.

Viriathus Capital to Guide OTCQB Process

To navigate the US listing requirements, OD6 has appointed Viriathus Capital LLC, a US-based advisory firm with OTCQB expertise, as its financial advisor. Viriathus will assist with the application, certification, compliance, and ongoing disclosure obligations necessary for OTCQB quotation.

The OTCQB Venture Market caters to entrepreneurial and development-stage companies, allowing international firms like OD6 to access US investors while retaining their primary foreign exchange listings. The listing is expected to improve trading during US market hours and broaden OD6’s North American shareholder base.

Broader Project Portfolio and Next Steps

Beyond Quinn, OD6 is advancing rare earth and copper projects in Western Australia and New South Wales, respectively, positioning itself as a diversified critical minerals supplier. The company will continue to update the market as it progresses through the OTCQB application process, which remains subject to approval by OTC Markets Group.

The OTCQB quotation could be a pivotal development for OD6, potentially unlocking greater US investor engagement and reinforcing the strategic significance of its Nevada fluorspar asset in a market reliant on imports.

Bottom Line?

OD6’s pursuit of OTCQB listing signals a clear intent to deepen US investor ties, but timing and approval remain uncertain.
