Discovery of Significant Shear Hosted Mineralisation

Titan Minerals Limited (ASX:TTM) has struck a potentially game-changing zone of shear and vein hosted gold-silver mineralisation at its Cerro Verde prospect within the Dynasty Gold Project in Ecuador. The standout intercept came from diamond drillhole CVDD26-199, which returned 33.5 metres at 6.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 55.5 g/t silver starting at 236.7 metres downhole. Crucially, this intercept lies outside the current resource boundary, hinting at a valuable addition to the project's mineral inventory.

This newly recognised northwest trending structural corridor has been underexplored, with its orientation likely causing previous drilling campaigns to miss this pervasive style of mineralisation. Titan’s technical team interprets the shear zone as a conduit for mineralising fluids, resulting in higher-grade gold and silver concentrations than typically seen in the vein-hosted mineralisation that has dominated prior resource models.

Implications for Resource Growth and Drilling Strategy

The discovery shifts the geological understanding of the Dynasty project, opening up a fresh avenue for resource expansion. Titan plans to launch a targeted drilling campaign in the coming fortnight designed specifically to test repetitions and lateral extensions of this shear hosted mineralisation, with drill holes oriented perpendicular to the structural trend to better define its extent.

Beyond the northwest corridor, the company has identified multiple high-conviction growth targets at Cerro Verde, including beneath the Brecha-Comanche waste dump, extensions at the Kaliman porphyry and vein-shear zones, and structurally significant intersection points that have seen limited deep drilling. These targets are slated for extensional drilling in 2026, with results expected to feed into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) scheduled for early 2027.

Operational Enhancements and Project Development

To support the expanded drilling program, Titan is adding a reverse circulation (RC) rig to its fleet, expected to arrive in early October. This addition aims to improve operational efficiency by enabling faster, cost-effective shallow drilling and first-pass exploration testing. Currently, three diamond rigs are active on site.

Meanwhile, the company’s recently appointed COO is onsite at Dynasty, conducting infrastructure assessments and field validations to inform the ongoing Scoping Study. This study, due in late 2026, will provide an independent strategic framework for future development, including infrastructure layout options for the tailings storage facility, process plant, and waste rock management areas.

The March 2026 resource update pegged the Dynasty Gold Project at 3.9 million ounces of gold and 26.1 million ounces of silver, with Cerro Verde alone accounting for 2.7 million ounces of gold. The new shear hosted mineralisation discovery and planned drilling campaign could materially enhance these figures, potentially reshaping the project’s economic outlook.
