Golden Deeps Ltd (ASX:GED) has commenced a deeper diamond drilling campaign at its Graceland discovery in Namibia’s prolific Otavi Mountain Land Critical Metals Belt, aiming to test three priority copper-silver-zinc-lead-germanium sulphide targets identified by induced polarisation (IP) surveys. The program focuses on down-plunge extensions of the high-grade Gossan 1 and Gossan 1 East zones, with a planned initial 10 diamond holes probing sulphide mineralisation down to depths exceeding 200 metres.
The targets share a striking geological and geochemical resemblance to the world-class Tsumeb deposit, located just 30 kilometres north of Graceland. Tsumeb is renowned for its rich polymetallic ore, historically producing 27 million tonnes at grades of 4.3% copper, 10% lead, 3.5% zinc, 95 g/t silver, and 50 g/t germanium. Golden Deeps is pursuing a similar steeply dipping carbonate-hosted sulphide system, with multiple IP chargeability anomalies extending over an 800-metre strike length and remaining open at depth and to the east.

These results continue to build on Golden Deeps’ earlier surface channel sampling, which recorded exceptional grades such as 3 metres at 11.2% copper and 294 g/t silver, and 0.5 metres hitting 31.7% copper and 961 g/t silver.
