Felix™ System Clears Regulatory Hurdle in Turkey

Memphasys Limited (ASX:MEM) has achieved a significant milestone with the Felix™ System securing product registration in Turkey. This approval unlocks commercial sales under the International Technical Legacy (ITL) distribution agreement, enabling Memphasys to officially launch in one of the region's most established assisted-reproduction markets.

The registration is now recorded on Turkey's national Product Tracking System, paving the way for Memphasys’ local distributor to begin active sales and clinic engagement. An initial order comprising 100 Felix™ cartridges and two consoles has been completed, providing the foundational installed base for product demonstrations and clinical training.

Turkey’s Assisted-Reproduction Market Offers Scale and Opportunity

Turkey boasts a sizable assisted-reproduction sector, with a 2024 peer-reviewed study identifying 165 assisted reproductive technology (ART) centres operating nationwide. The country undertakes an estimated 75,000 ART treatment cycles annually, making it a fertile ground for the Felix™ System's adoption.

Memphasys has already completed hands-on training with ITL’s in-country distribution partner, equipping the local team to support IVF clinics with product demonstrations and technical discussions essential for adoption. The company anticipates that ongoing marketing and clinical training efforts will stimulate further interest and recurring cartridge orders over the coming quarters.

ITL Partnership Drives Regional Expansion

Turkey was added to ITL’s distribution territory following CE Mark approval and the expansion of their agreement in September 2025. Prior to the Turkish launch, ITL had already placed orders for 1,800 Felix™ cartridges, representing 72% of its 2,500-cartridge annual minimum commitment. This new market entry complements Memphasys’ broader regional growth strategy, which recently saw progress in Southeast Asia with approvals and orders in Thailand and Vietnam.

Associate Professor Hassan Bakos, Memphasys’ Director of Clinical Partnerships and Growth, highlighted the importance of the Turkish registration as a commercial enabler. He noted that the initial sale and distributor training provide a practical foothold in a large IVF market, with expectations for increased clinic interest and cartridge demand as local activities expand.

Bottom Line?

Memphasys’ entry into Turkey marks a critical step in scaling Felix™ sales across a key assisted-reproduction market, but future growth hinges on clinic adoption and purchasing patterns.

Questions in the middle?

  • How quickly will IVF clinics in Turkey convert to Felix™ following distributor engagement?
  • What is the potential revenue impact if Turkey matches adoption rates seen in other ITL territories?
  • Could further regulatory approvals in adjacent markets accelerate ITL’s regional footprint?
