Strategic Partnership Opens Travel Loyalty Channel

FlexiRoam Limited (ASX:FRX) has taken a significant step into the travel loyalty and hospitality sector by signing a two-year Connectivity Partnership Agreement with Dragonpass Global Limited. Dragonpass, a dominant digital platform serving over 40 million members worldwide, will now embed FlexiRoam’s mobile data connectivity into its offerings distributed across enterprise clients and partner programs.

This partnership is notable for providing FlexiRoam with a global channel that spans more than 130 countries and includes access to 1,400 airport lounges and over 400 leading brand partnerships. Dragonpass’s extensive reach into travel benefits distribution, including airport fast track and lounge access, positions FlexiRoam to leverage established loyalty ecosystems rather than building relationships one brand at a time.

First Campaign Targets Top-Tier Hotel Loyalty Program

The initial campaign under this agreement will run for three months and supports a loyalty program operated by a top-three global hotel group, marking FlexiRoam’s first hotel use case. New members joining this program will receive a global eSIM data reward, 3 GB usable over 10 consecutive days across 150+ countries, delivered via FlexiRoam’s AI-powered WhatsApp agent without the need for app downloads.

This integration taps into the natural synergy between travel connectivity and hotel loyalty, as connectivity is a tangible benefit travellers use during their trips. The campaign’s revenue is estimated at approximately USD 100,000 (A$140,000) over three months, though actual figures will depend on member uptake and carry no minimum commitment.

Channel-Led Growth Strategy Validated

FlexiRoam’s CEO, Jefrey Ong, highlighted that this deal aligns directly with the company’s FY26 growth plan, which identified loyalty programs and hotels as key sectors for channel expansion. This partnership builds on FlexiRoam’s existing embedded data model successes with Mastercard in financial services and Tune Protect in travel insurance, extending it now into travel loyalty and hospitality.

The two-year framework allows for additional campaigns across Dragonpass’s partner programs and markets, potentially broadening FlexiRoam’s footprint in the travel and lifestyle sectors. This complements recent enterprise deals, including agreements with Etihad Airways and a major Australian payments group, underscoring FlexiRoam’s momentum in embedding connectivity within partners holding large customer bases.

Material Partnership Despite Modest Initial Revenue

While the initial hotel loyalty campaign’s revenue impact is modest relative to FlexiRoam’s total turnover, the Board considers the partnership material due to Dragonpass’s scale, institutional stature, and the strategic validation it provides. The agreement’s no-minimum volume clause means revenue could fluctuate significantly based on campaign performance.

FlexiRoam’s model of embedding connectivity as a reward or benefit within established loyalty programs offers a scalable path to recurring revenue streams. The partnership with Dragonpass, a platform trusted by major banks, card issuers, and telecommunications providers, could unlock further growth opportunities across travel, lifestyle, and financial sectors.

Bottom Line?

FlexiRoam’s Dragonpass deal marks a strategic foothold in travel loyalty, but revenue upside hinges on campaign uptake and future expansions.
