Mammoth Target Footprint Surges by More Than 50%

OD6 Metals (ASX:OD6) has unveiled a substantial expansion of its Mammoth fluorspar target within the Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada, increasing the mapped mineralised area by over 50% to more than 14,000 square metres. This growth follows detailed geological remapping and sampling campaigns that have redefined the mineralised breccia and stockwork system to extend over 300 metres in strike and up to 100 metres across, with the system still open beneath surface cover.

Broad, High-Grade Mineralisation Across Multiple Benches

Channel sampling across multiple benches has returned continuous fluorspar mineralisation, with standout intercepts including 44 metres at 29% CaF2 and a peak assay of 58.4% CaF2 on Middle Bench, and 22 metres at 20.1% CaF2 with a maximum of 85.9% CaF2 on Upper1 Bench. Rock chip samples complement these findings, featuring assays as high as 78.3% CaF2. Such widths and grade continuity suggest a bulk-tonnage style deposit, contrasting with the narrower, ultra-high-grade veins seen at nearby Horseshoe and Big Jim prospects.

Open Mineralisation Presents Further Growth Opportunities

The mineralised system remains open to the east beneath talus cover and to the north under a silicified limestone cap, with a southern extension identified historically but yet to be tested. These untested zones represent immediate drill targets as OD6 prepares to advance the next phase of exploration. The company emphasises the potential for Mammoth to complement the high-grade targets nearby, adding scale and diversity to its district-scale fluorspar portfolio.

Strategic Timing Amid Strengthening Fluorspar Market

Fluorspar prices have strengthened sharply, with Acidspar prices rising approximately 29% over the past three quarters to US$654 per tonne as of July 2026, reflecting tightening global supply. The Quinn Project’s location in Nevada, one of the world’s most mining-friendly jurisdictions, positions OD6 to tap into the US market where fluorspar remains 100% import reliant and is classified as a critical mineral.
