Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML; NASDAQ:RML) has hit its highest gold grades yet at the Golden Gate South prospect in Idaho, with a narrow but striking 1-metre interval grading 14.8 g/t gold and 12 g/t silver. The result came from drill hole HH-GG26-004C and was accompanied by a 1-metre interval grading 7.0 g/t gold in HH-GG26-005C.
The more important result may be the combination of those high-grade samples with broader mineralised intervals. HH-GG26-005C returned 10.2 metres at 1.83 g/t gold from 58.05 metres downhole, including 3.9 metres at 3.19 g/t. HH-GG26-004C delivered 7.2 metres at 2.35 g/t from 58.1 metres, including the 14.8 g/t interval.
Golden Gate South Zone Extends to 600 Metres
Resolution said all six diamond holes drilled across the southernmost east-west section have intersected significant gold mineralisation, extending the identified zone at Golden Gate South to approximately 600 metres wide. The company cautioned that continuity is weaker on the western side, a distinction that matters as the drilling moves from discovery headlines towards a coherent geological model.
The new results add to a wide mineralised package reported from the same section. Earlier drilling included 305.7 metres at 0.64 g/t gold from surface in HH-GG26-003C, while HH-GG26-002C returned intervals of 32.6 metres at 0.49 g/t and 87.87 metres at 0.52 g/t. Resolution interprets the sharper, higher-grade intervals as possible feeder zones that could sit alongside broader gold-bearing areas, although that interpretation remains an exploration hypothesis rather than a defined resource model.
42-Hole Programme Leaves Assay Pipeline
The 2026 programme has now been completed with 42 diamond holes covering 12,236 metres. Assays remain pending for 36 holes targeting a combination of gold and tungsten mineralisation at Golden Gate South, leaving a substantial flow of results that could clarify whether the latest high-grade hits are isolated structures or part of a repeating system.
Resolution is advancing gold alongside its tungsten and antimony work at Horse Heaven, a 100%-owned project immediately adjacent to Perpetua Resources’ permitted Stibnite Gold Project. The company’s stated objective for the drilling was to define the scale and extent of tungsten and gold mineralisation at Golden Gate, rather than establish an economic development case at this stage.
True Widths and Verification Still Outstanding
The headline grades come with two material qualifications. The reported intersections are downhole lengths and the true widths of the mineralisation are not yet known. The company also says select verification assays for significant intersections are planned but had not been completed before release. Those checks, together with the remaining assays and further drilling, will determine how much weight can be placed on the emerging feeder-zone interpretation.
