Strickland Finds New Obradov Target at 9.25Moz Rogozna

A new magnetotelluric survey has identified a large conductive anomaly beneath Strickland Metals’ Obradov Prospect in Serbia, adding another high-priority target to its 9.25Moz AuEq Rogozna project. The anomaly is supported by overlapping gravity, IP, geochemical and drilling evidence, but still requires drilling to establish whether it contains an economic mineralised system.

Obradov Emerges as Rogozna’s Priority Target

Strickland Metals Limited (ASX:STK) has found its most substantial new exploration target at Obradov, where a May magnetotelluric survey outlined a laterally extensive, highly conductive anomaly beneath the prospect. The company says the feature overlaps existing gravity and shallow IP anomalies, surface geochemistry and prior drilling, creating a target with several independent lines of support.

The geological clue is the position of the earlier mineralisation. A late-2025 hole encountered carbonate replacement-style lead-zinc-silver mineralisation near the top of the newly defined MT anomaly. Strickland interprets that style as potentially representing the outer or distal portion of a porphyry or skarn system, although the survey itself does not establish the presence, grade or economic significance of a deposit.

Jezerska Survey Extends the Search Area

The survey also identified additional scope around the established Jezerska porphyry system. Existing drilling, including hole ZRJD23001 with a reported 90-metre intersection at 0.4 grams per tonne gold, has not tested the most conductive sections modelled by the survey. That response extends about 900 metres east of the current drilling and is considered by the company to be a possible indicator of increased sulphide content.

Further north, the MT data has defined a new target at Jezerska North, about three kilometres from Jezerska. The vertically extensive, northwest-trending conductivity feature is associated with surface geochemical anomalism and existing ZTEM and gravity anomalies. Its interpreted structure reaches surface roughly two kilometres north-east of Jezerska, giving Strickland another area for follow-up work rather than simply a deeper extension of an existing drill target.

Drilling Required to Convert Signals into Results

Strickland plans to integrate the MT results with its geological, geophysical, geochemical and drilling data before prioritising the next exploration phase. Scout drilling of the identified targets is planned, with Obradov described as a compelling target for testing in the coming months. The announcement reports no new drilling results, resource increase or economic study outcome.

The exploration programme is being advanced alongside baseline surveys supporting pre-feasibility studies at Rogozna. Strickland reported $72 million in cash and liquid assets at 30 June 2026, providing a stated funding position for the work ahead. Rogozna’s reported mineral resource remains 217 million tonnes at 1.33 grams per tonne AuEq for 9.25 million ounces, including 1.25Moz in the indicated category and 8.00Moz inferred.

The MT survey broadens Rogozna’s discovery pipeline, but the investment case now turns on whether drilling can translate conductivity and overlapping anomalies into material mineralisation.
