Three-market Felix agreement adds contracted revenue

Memphasys Limited (ASX:MEM) has secured its largest new European footprint in a single agreement, signing INVIDO LAB as the exclusive Felix distributor across the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Kazakhstan. The three-year deal carries minimum contracted purchases of €416,200, equivalent to approximately A$674,000 at the exchange rate cited in the release.

The annual commitments rise from €86,000, or about A$139,000, in the first year to €191,600, or approximately A$310,000, in the third. That stepped structure gives Memphasys a defined commercial path if INVIDO meets its purchase obligations and Felix gains traction among clinics. The agreement also includes quarterly ordering requirements and other performance conditions, so the headline value is a minimum commitment rather than a guarantee of broader sales or profitability.

INVIDO brings local IVF distribution capability

Based in Brno, the Czech Republic, INVIDO supplies IVF laboratory equipment and consumables and has existing relationships with clinics, fertility centres, embryologists and specialists across the contracted territories. It will lead local commercial development and provide first-line customer and technical support, while Memphasys handles product training and works alongside the distributor on market development.

The territory is sizeable, although the opportunity figures should not be confused with committed Felix demand. The Czech Republic recorded about 54,300 assisted reproduction cycles in 2023, Slovakia reported 8,288 cycles in 2024, and Kazakhstan’s latest cited national registry recorded 27,012 cycles in 2021. Kazakhstan also has 7,000 publicly funded IVF and ICSI treatment quotas each year, with 19 clinics participating in that programme.

New European leadership supports distributor network

Memphasys has appointed Arne Schierau as Director, Commercial Operations Europe, giving the company a Europe-based executive to work with distributors, clinics and industry stakeholders. Schierau’s background includes senior roles with Nexpring Health, Fujifilm Biocare Europe and Affymetrix, according to the release.

The commercial logic rests partly on Felix’s single-use cartridges: each installed console can create an ongoing consumables stream as utilisation builds. That model could make distributor execution more important than the initial console placement, but the announcement does not disclose margins, expected revenue-recognition timing, regulatory milestones or the number of clinics targeted in the three territories. The next meaningful evidence will be whether INVIDO converts market access into quarterly orders and sustained cartridge usage.
