GenusPlus Group Ltd (ASX:GNP) has won an approximately $135 million contract to build the high-voltage connection for a 470MW wind farm in Western Australia, extending its pipeline of energy infrastructure work into 2028.
The Design and Construct contract from Atmos Renewables covers a 330kV terminal, 330kV transmission lines and associated ancillary works at the Parron Maam Marang Farm Substation near Badgingarra. GenusPlus has already undertaken preliminary activity on the project, including detailed design, procurement of long-lead items and bulk earthworks, and the stated contract value includes those early works.
Construction remains subject to project milestones
The headline value is not yet a guarantee that the full construction package will proceed. GenusPlus said construction is subject to customary conditions precedent, including Atmos Renewables reaching financial close, executing connection agreements and issuing a Notice to Proceed.

GenusPlus Managing Director David Riches said the contract builds on the company’s relationship with Atmos, which also includes work on the Merredin BESS Project.
