PC Gold drilling pushes Spring Hill’s Link Zone beyond the model

Link Zone extends beyond the current model

PC Gold Limited (ASX:PC2) has reported a fresh set of drilling results from its 100%-owned Spring Hill Gold Project in the Northern Territory, with the most consequential intersections extending Link Zone mineralisation beyond the company’s current geological model. The standout result was 29.65 metres at 4.32 g/t gold from 332.35 metres in SDH26-016, including 4.75 metres at 8.60 g/t gold.

The company said the Link Zone in that hole was intersected about 30 metres down dip of the modelled position and at a higher grade. SDH26-013 delivered a similar extension signal, returning 19 metres at 1.70 g/t gold from 402 metres, including 1.7 metres at 7.87 g/t, also described as Link Zone mineralisation around 30 metres below the model.

Broad intervals support continuity across Spring Hill

SDH26-017 returned 33.38 metres at 2.17 g/t gold from 156.62 metres, with several higher-grade internal zones, while a separate eight-metre interval at 3.69 g/t from 195 metres was assigned to the Link Zone. SDH26-019 added a narrower but materially higher-grade result of 3.24 metres at 13.18 g/t from 240.76 metres.

Another hole, SDH26-012, intersected 34 metres at 2.07 g/t gold from 301 metres, including 10 metres at 4.17 g/t. At Main Zone South, MS-027 produced a broad near-surface 38-metre interval at 1.32 g/t from 13 metres, alongside four metres at 5.39 g/t at depth. MS-030 returned five metres at 4.29 g/t from 87 metres and extended earlier high-grade results in the same hole.

Results are running ahead of block model grades

Executive chairman Ashley Pattison said the diamond drilling was “consistently reporting grades exceeding the estimated block model grades”, adding that progressive Link Zone step-outs were providing further confidence in the continuity and extent of mineralisation. The company intends to incorporate the new drilling into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate targeted for December 2026.

Spring Hill’s stated resource is 43.6 million tonnes at 1.1 g/t gold for 1.5 million ounces, classified as Indicated and Inferred. The new drilling is therefore relevant not only because of the individual grades, but because extensions outside the current model and improved drill density could influence the geological interpretation supporting that resource. That outcome remains prospective rather than established: the reported intervals are downhole lengths and may only approximate true widths.

Outstanding assays leave the picture incomplete

The release reports partial results from 12 diamond holes, and significant sections of several holes have yet to be assayed. Pending work includes assays from the deeper portions of SDH26-012 and SDH26-021, as well as the final section of SDH26-013. PC Gold said results would be released as they are received and reviewed, while drilling continues to test further extensions and infill targets.

The next resource update will consequently do more than add ounces mechanically. It will test whether the apparent gains in Link Zone thickness, grade and down-dip continuity hold across the remaining assays and can be translated into a more confident resource interpretation. Until then, the strongest evidence is encouraging but still based on a partial drilling dataset.
