Eden Innovations reported a sharp acceleration in US sales during Q1 FY27, led by a 247% jump in OptiBlend revenue and expanding EdenCrete plant installations. The figures are unaudited management results, but they give the company a stronger opening quarter for the new financial year.
- Total US revenue rose 152% to US$381,612
- OptiBlend sales climbed 247% to US$259,863
- EdenCrete Pz7 sales nearly quadrupled to US$75,770
- Six new bulk dispensing installations were added in the quarter
- The international installation network reached 32 plants, including two pending installations
OptiBlend drives Eden’s first-quarter sales jump
Eden Innovations Ltd (ASX:EDE) more than doubled its US quarterly revenue in Q1 FY27, with sales reaching US$381,612 compared with US$151,237 a year earlier. The 152% increase was powered primarily by OptiBlend, the company’s dual-fuel system for diesel generators and engines, which generated US$259,863, up 247% year on year.
OptiBlend revenue covered nine orders, including kit sales and installation services for genset packagers, drilling contractors and other customers across Texas, Louisiana and Florida. The quarter also produced the company’s first export sale to Brazil, while Eden said it had 19 new quotes valued at US$1.07 million, including a potential US$249,000 opportunity involving the US Army Corps of Engineers’ generator procurement process.
EdenCrete installations widen the recurring-sales base
EdenCrete sales were smaller but still moved higher, rising 60% to US$121,749. EdenCrete Pz7 accounted for US$75,770, nearly four times the prior-year figure, while sales of the original EdenCrete product fell to US$45,979 from US$56,298.
Eden US installed six new EdenCrete Pz7 bulk storage and dispensing systems during the quarter: three in Colorado, two in Texas and one in Minnesota. The rollout included expansion through Amrize’s network, building on the North American plant rollout, which previously covered new sites in Texas, Minnesota and the Toronto area.
Two further US installations were scheduled for October, taking the total number of plants with bulk systems across the USA, Canada and Ecuador to 32 once those sites are included. The total comprises 21 US installations, including the two pending sites, nine in Ecuador and two in Canada.
Starter orders must convert into plant consumption
The commercial logic of the rollout rests on what happens after installation. Each new plant typically places a starter order worth US$6,000 to US$10,000 while it tests dosages and adjusts concrete mix designs. Eden said that optimisation generally takes months, after which daily integration can create replenishment demand.
Based on sales from its nine Ecuadorian plants, Eden estimates that a mature site could purchase roughly US$40,000 to US$80,000 of EdenCrete Pz7 a year, or more depending on the strength of the concrete supplied. Those figures are company estimates rather than contracted revenue, and the filing says market conditions must remain positive for its expectation of strong year-on-year FY27 growth to be achieved.
International pipeline remains at trial and quote stage
Holcim Ecuador has bought more than US$697,830 of EdenCrete Pz7 cumulatively, with another order anticipated. Holcim is also reviewing possible dispensing-system rollouts in two other South American countries, while trials continue in the UK and France. Eden separately reported encouraging results from EdenCrete trials in the Delhi area during the quarter.
For OptiBlend, two installations worth about US$110,000 were planned for October. The company also cited potential orders in Mexico and Bolivia, as well as further Brazilian demand. None of those prospective opportunities is presented as secured revenue in the announcement, leaving the next quarter’s sales a test of whether the quote pipeline and new concrete sites begin translating into repeat orders.
Bottom Line?
The opening quarter is encouraging, but the more durable test is whether new EdenCrete installations progress from modest starter orders to recurring plant consumption while OptiBlend quotes convert into completed work.
Questions in the middle?
- How much of the US$1.07 million OptiBlend quote pipeline will convert into orders and revenue?
- Will the two October EdenCrete installations be completed on schedule and generate replenishment demand?
- Can the new US and Canadian plants reach the company’s estimated annual purchasing range within one to two years?
