$2.2 million raise targets multiple exploration fronts
Tambourah Metals Ltd (ASX:TMB) is turning to shareholders for up to $2.2 million to keep work moving across its Western Australian exploration portfolio. The one-for-four non-renounceable entitlement offer is priced at $0.035 per new share, before costs, with the company directing the proceeds primarily towards exploration rather than a single flagship project.
The funding will cover the Bryah Projects, including Baxters South, the Beatty Park South gold projects, the Tambourah Gold Project and the Speewah North Critical Minerals Project. Tambourah also nominated exploration at its other projects and general working capital, leaving the final allocation dependent on the company’s priorities and the amount ultimately raised.
Free options add a second layer to the offer
For every two new shares applied for, investors will receive one unquoted option. The attaching options carry a $0.06 exercise price and expire 18 months after issue, giving the package a potential future funding component if exercised, although there is no certainty that options will be exercised.
The offer arrives after Tambourah reported encouraging gold results at Beatty Park South and Tambourah King, including high-grade intersections in its latest exploration update. The new capital is intended to support the next stages of work across those targets and the company’s broader gold and critical minerals portfolio, rather than representing a transition to production.
Full subscription would add 62.9 million shares
On a fully subscribed basis, Tambourah would issue 62,938,002 new shares, taking shares on issue from 251,752,009 to 314,690,011. That is an increase of roughly one-quarter in the share count, making shareholder participation important for holders seeking to avoid dilution relative to the offer’s starting capital structure.
Eligible shareholders can apply for their entitlement, then seek additional securities through a top-up offer. Any remaining shortfall may be offered to other investors invited by the company. The record date is set for 19 October 2026, with the offer scheduled to close on 2 November, although the timetable is indicative and may change.
Participation will determine the scale of exploration funding
The central question is not whether Tambourah has identified work to fund, but how much of the proposed programme the raising will support. The headline $2.2 million assumes full subscription, while the company’s capital structure and exploration capacity will change with participation, top-up allocations and any shortfall placement.
Bottom Line?
The raise gives Tambourah a defined exploration runway, but the eventual result will depend on shareholder participation and whether the funded programs generate further investable targets.
Questions in the middle?
- How much of the $2.2 million target will be secured through the entitlement, top-up and shortfall offers?
- Which of the Bryah, Beatty Park South, Tambourah or Speewah North programs will receive priority if the offer is undersubscribed?
- Will the attaching options become a meaningful source of later exploration capital at the $0.06 exercise price?
