SEG completes A$4.75 million top-up to MediaWorks funding

Second placement tranche raises A$4.75 million

Sports Entertainment Group Limited (ASX:SEG) has completed the deferred and oversubscription portions of its institutional placement, issuing 16,964,290 new shares at A$0.28 each for A$4.75 million before costs. Combined with the first tranche issued in August, the placement has raised approximately A$14.54 million.

The latest issue includes 16,607,147 shares approved by shareholders at SEG’s 6 October general meeting, while the remaining 357,143 shares were issued under the company’s existing placement capacity under ASX Listing Rule 7.1. The shares went to new institutional and sophisticated investors, as well as supportive existing shareholders.

The accompanying section 708A notice confirms the shares were issued without disclosure under Part 6D.2 of the Corporations Act and states that SEG had complied with its relevant financial reporting and continuous disclosure obligations as at 12 October.
