Orcoda has opened FY27 with unaudited quarterly revenue of $6.2 million, up 63% from the previous quarter, while annual recurring revenue reached approximately $14.7 million. Revenue rebound gives Orcoda a strong FY27 opening

Orcoda Limited (ASX:ODA) has started FY27 with a sharp acceleration in quarterly revenue, reporting unaudited group revenue of $6.2 million for the September quarter. That was 63% above the $3.8 million recorded in the previous quarter, while annual recurring revenue climbed to approximately $14.7 million.

The headline growth was driven principally by the Resource and Infrastructure division, including The Betta Group. Revenue from that division rose 154% to $4.45 million, up from $1.75 million in the June quarter. Orcoda said the business had historically weighed on consolidated growth, but had been working to reduce its reliance on one major customer and build a more diversified base.

Wagner contract contributes as customer mix broadens

The company said the Wagner contract continued to perform well. The agreement was previously reported as a multi-year arrangement supporting workforce logistics and facilities management at Wellcamp, with the September quarter generating approximately $2.35 million in Wellcamp revenue, according to the Wagner Wellcamp contract.

Orcoda also said its Transport and Logistics division, including Future Fleet, had added multiple customers to its technology platforms. The company linked those additions to higher ARR and a growing future customer pipeline, although the update did not disclose the number of new customers, the composition of ARR or the contribution from individual contracts.

Cash receipts improve while bank balance edges lower

Cash receipts from customers increased 5% quarter-on-quarter to $4.8 million. Cash at bank, however, fell 6% from $1.68 million to $1.58 million. The announcement provides no earnings, margin or detailed operating cash flow figures, leaving the quality and cash conversion of the reported revenue for later filings to establish.

Payments to related parties totalled $151,000 during the quarter, down 28% from $210,000 in the previous quarter. Managing director Geoff Jamieson said the growth in both divisions, ARR and total revenue represented a strong start to FY27, while reiterating the company’s focus on expanding its technology footprint in Australia and overseas.

Next test is whether growth can become durable

The quarter gives Orcoda a materially stronger top-line profile, but the comparison with the previous quarter is only one data point and the figures remain unaudited. The next points of scrutiny are whether the less concentrated customer base can sustain Resource and Infrastructure revenue, how much of the $14.7 million ARR is genuinely recurring, and whether cash generation keeps pace with expansion.

Bottom Line?

Orcoda has established momentum early in FY27, but sustained cash conversion and customer diversification will determine whether the quarter marks a durable reset.

Questions in the middle?

  • How much of the approximately $14.7 million ARR is supported by newly added customers and the Wagner agreement?
  • Can the Resource and Infrastructure division maintain its stronger revenue without returning to dependence on a major customer?
  • Will cash receipts and operating cash flow strengthen enough to fund further platform expansion?
