Manuka Resources has received A$1.64 million from a Wonawinta shipment that yielded 267 ounces of gold and 453 ounces of silver. Weekly deliveries are now planned, while the company prepares to add silver processing in early 2027.

  • A$1.644 million received from the 16 October delivery
  • 267 ounces of gold and 453 ounces of silver recovered
  • Weekly precious metals deliveries planned from Wonawinta
  • October gold operating profitability update due in early November
  • Combined gold and silver processing targeted for early 2027

Wonawinta shipment generates A$1.64 million

Manuka Resources Limited (ASX/NZX:MKR) has converted another Wonawinta delivery into A$1,644,812 of receipts, with ABC Refinery confirming recovery of 267 ounces of gold and 453 ounces of silver from filter cake delivered on 16 October.

The result marks a shift towards a more regular sales rhythm. Manuka says precious metals deliveries from gold processing are scheduled weekly, with the next delivery expected to reach the Sydney refinery on 23 October. That shipment remains a plan rather than a realised result.

Gold operations move towards weekly sales

The announcement follows the company's

The filing does not disclose the operating costs associated with the shipment, payable metal terms or a realised profit figure. The A$1.64 million therefore describes receipts from this delivery, not the contribution to earnings or cash flow after processing and other costs.

Silver circuit sets up the next production phase

Manuka says Mt Boppy gold-bearing screened waste dump material remains available to support ongoing operations at Wonawinta. Once the new crushing and silver deslime circuits are commissioned, the company expects the site to transition to combined gold and silver processing in early 2027, giving it scope to adjust the production mix according to precious metals prices, operating performance and expected returns.

That timetable extends the production story beyond the current gold ramp-up, but it also puts more weight on commissioning and execution. The next concrete markers are the expected 23 October delivery, the early-November profitability update and evidence that the silver-processing infrastructure can move from construction into reliable production.

Bottom Line?

The receipts show Wonawinta is generating saleable precious metals, but the next test is whether weekly deliveries translate into profitable and repeatable operations before silver processing begins.

Questions in the middle?

  • Will the expected 23 October delivery confirm that weekly sales can be sustained?
  • What operating margin will Manuka report for October gold production?
  • Can the crushing and silver deslime circuits be commissioned on the early-2027 timetable?
