Jatcorp’s revenue rose 23% to $38.9 million in FY2026, but weaker margins, negative operating cash flow and a material going-concern uncertainty leave the nutritional products maker’s recovery unfinished. The company ended the year with $5.6 million in cash after a $4.2 million entitlement offer, while Neurio trademark litigation in China remains unresolved.
- Revenue increased 23% to $38.9 million
- Gross margin fell to 15.81% from 19.77%
- Statutory loss narrowed to $4.7 million
- Operating cash flow turned negative at $1.4 million
- Auditor flagged material uncertainty over going concern
Revenue Growth Comes With a Margin Cost
Jatcorp Limited (ASX:JAT) grew FY2026 revenue by 23% to $38.9 million, but the extra sales did not translate into stronger gross profit. Gross profit was broadly flat at $6.1 million, pulling the gross margin down to 15.81% from 19.77% a year earlier.
The audited group result was a $4.7 million loss after tax, an improvement from the restated $6.9 million loss in FY2025. EBITDA also improved, with the loss narrowing to $3.4 million. On Jatcorp’s non-standard adjusted measure, however, the EBITDA loss widened to $2.7 million from $1.8 million after excluding impairment losses and inventory write-downs.
Cash Flow Keeps the Recovery Under Pressure
The more consequential figure may be cash generated by the business. Operating cash flow swung from a $1.6 million inflow in FY2025 to a $1.4 million outflow in FY2026, even as customer receipts reached $38.7 million. Jatcorp finished the year with $5.6 million in cash, helped by the $4.2 million entitlement offer completed during the year.
That capital raising issued 28.1 million shares at $0.15 each and lifted the combined interest of HS Global E-Commerce and Simon Lin from 8.8% to 31.3%, according to the directors’ report. The company also has access to a $3 million facility through July 2027, but the directors’ ability to continue on a going-concern basis depends materially on achieving positive operating cash flow and meeting forecast project profits.
China Litigation Remains a Material Risk
RSM Australia Partners issued an unmodified audit opinion but separately highlighted a material uncertainty related to going concern. The auditor pointed to Jatcorp’s loss and negative operating cash flow, while the annual report says the directors believe available cash, forecast controls and funding access provide reasonable grounds to continue operations.
The Neurio trademark dispute adds another layer of uncertainty. Guangzhou Aotiwa Biological Technology has claimed approximately A$2.29 million against Sunnya and A$0.52 million against Jatcorp, while a separate complaint against wholly owned subsidiary LTR Trading seeks about A$6.47 million. Jatcorp disputes the allegations and amounts; none represents management’s estimate of a liability. The report also records A$1.3 million in accrued legal fees and an inventory provision of $662,786 for Neurio products.
Expansion Must Now Improve the Economics
Management is targeting better-quality growth through Moroka distribution in China, new channels in Southeast Asia and greater utilisation of the Melbourne-based ANMA manufacturing facility. Sales began under an exclusive Vietnamese distribution partnership, while Moroka entered about 150 mother-and-baby retail stores in China. ANMA also became BTNature’s exclusive Australian and New Zealand manufacturer during the period.
The next test is whether those initiatives can produce healthier margins and cash generation rather than simply a larger revenue line. Jatcorp identifies customer and channel concentration, working capital, funding, intellectual property and execution as material risks. With one Australian customer contributing $23.6 million of revenue and China accounting for 19% of total sales, diversification remains an objective rather than an accomplished fact.
Bottom Line?
Jatcorp’s sales recovery is visible, but FY27 will be judged on margin repair and operating cash flow before its funding cushion is tested again.
Questions in the middle?
- Can Jatcorp convert Southeast Asian distribution and ANMA activity into positive operating cash flow?
- How will the Neurio proceedings in China affect inventory, sales channels and potential cash outflows?
- How durable is revenue growth while one customer and related-party channels account for a substantial share of sales?
