Everest turns three WA projects into a string of near-term catalysts
Everest Metals has built Mt Dimer’s ROM stockpile to more than 142,000 tonnes while advancing toll processing, a Revere development study and a strategic review of its Mt Edon rubidium project. The company ended September with A$4.1 million in cash, leaving execution and funding as the next tests.
- Mt Dimer ROM stockpile exceeds 142,000 tonnes ahead of toll processing
- Updated Mt Dimer resource totals 42,978 ounces, with 32% in Measured and Indicated categories
- Mt Edon strategic review targets US and allied-market partnerships, funding and offtake pathways
- Revere mining lease secured to 2047 and 7,877 metres of aircore drilling completed
- Cash stood at approximately A$4.1 million at quarter-end

Mt Dimer stockpile moves closer to processing
Everest Metals Corporation Ltd (ASX:EMC) has pushed its Mt Dimer gold operation into a more consequential phase, with the run-of-mine stockpile rising to more than 142,000 tonnes at 30 September from 92,788 tonnes three months earlier. The material is being accumulated under a non-dilutive Right to Mine Agreement with MEGA Resources and Bain Global Resources, which provide development funding and operational support.
The company has a processing route in place through MEGA’s 200,000-tonne toll-treatment agreement with Medallion Metals (ASX:MM8), but the first campaign had not begun by quarter-end despite being scheduled for late September. That makes commencement, processing performance and the conversion of the stockpile into cash-generating output the immediate operational questions. Everest’s Mt Dimer resource upgrade subsequently lifted the project’s resource to 975,000 tonnes at 1.37 grams per tonne gold for 42,978 ounces, with Measured and Indicated material accounting for about 32% of contained gold.
The updated estimate includes 142,000 tonnes of Indicated stockpile material containing 6,072 ounces, alongside 833,000 tonnes of in-situ resources. Further drilling is planned below the existing pit, where mineralisation remains open. Separately, a 2,000-metre RC program on the adjoining E77/2383 tenement targeted three gold-arsenic-lead anomalies and received up to A$145,000 in potential Western Australian government co-funding.
Mt Edon seeks strategic capital and supply-chain validation
At Mt Edon, Everest has appointed Hall Chadwick as exclusive strategic adviser to examine partnerships, offtake and prepayment arrangements, joint ventures, project-level investment and possible standalone structures. The review is initially focused on the United States and allied markets, building on Everest’s membership of the U.S. Defense Industrial Base Consortium.
The company has also arranged an independent two-phase assessment of rubidium supply-chain vulnerability, potential demand and possible US economic, national-security and funding pathways. No transaction is assured. The commercial review arrives as the company advances its rubidium process: batch testwork achieved extraction of up to 90%, while initial continuous rotary-kiln trials delivered variable recovery of 50% to 60% and remain subject to optimisation. That gap between laboratory-style batch results and continuous operation was also evident in the Mt Edon process trials, which reported batch recovery of up to 90% but lower, variable kiln recovery.
Revere gains tenure, ownership and a development timetable
Revere delivered the quarter’s clearest permitting milestone. Mining Lease M51/905 was granted until 2047 after Everest signed a Native Title and Mining Agreement with the Yugunga-Nya People #2, securing tenure over the entire 228,307-ounce Big John resource. The company is targeting submission of its Mining Development and Closure Proposal in the December 2026 quarter.
Como Engineers has been appointed to prepare a Scoping Study based on Revere’s existing 260,780-ounce resource, with completion targeted for the March quarter of 2027. Everest also completed 7,877 metres of aircore drilling across Armstrong, Big John and Tree Reef; assay results are expected in early December. The work builds on the Revere drilling and scoping study, which set the same March-quarter study target and outlined a proposed increase in Everest’s Goodins East interest.
Everest completed the transaction to lift its interest in the Goodins East joint venture to 56% and reduce the royalty burden over selected tenements. The consideration comprised A$150,000 in cash and 1 million shares, issued on 17 September. The deal gives Everest a larger stated interest in the relevant ground, while the forthcoming study and drilling assays will determine how much development substance sits behind the expanded position.
Cash balance leaves execution as the next test
Everest reported approximately A$4.1 million in cash at 30 September. September-quarter spending included about A$519,000 on exploration, A$150,000 on tenement acquisitions and A$260,000 on administration and corporate costs, while the company received approximately A$805,000 in net GST, predominantly associated with investing activities.
The portfolio now has several near-term milestones rather than a single defining catalyst: Mt Dimer toll processing, December assays from Revere, the Mt Edon supply-chain assessment, the Revere Scoping Study and development-approval work across the projects. The filing records meaningful progress on each front, but it does not yet establish the timing or economics of commercial production, project financing or a strategic transaction.
Bottom Line?
Everest has assembled a fuller development pipeline, but the next phase must show whether stockpiled ore, rubidium processing and Revere’s resource growth can translate into durable project funding.
Questions in the middle?
- When will Mt Dimer’s first toll-processing campaign begin, and what recoveries and cash returns will it deliver?
- Can Mt Edon’s continuous kiln results be lifted toward the batch-test extraction rate while the strategic review progresses?
- Will Revere’s December assays and 2027 Scoping Study support a development case before the company needs additional capital?
