Regener8 expands strongest Bosnia target with broad Gradina soil anomaly
Regener8 Resources has expanded its strongest soil signal at the Srebrenica North project, with Gradina defining a 1.5km by 900m zinc-lead anomaly and peak results of 15.3g/t silver. The explorer ended September with A$2.693 million in cash, providing an estimated 5.32 quarters of funding at the quarter’s spending rate.
- 1.5km by 900m coherent Gradina zinc-lead soil anomaly
- Peak soil results of 6,517ppm Zn+Pb, 15.3g/t Ag and 397ppm Sb
- Soil sampling 82% complete across Vagan and Dolovi
- Ground-magnetic survey completed, with results expected in November
- A$2.693 million cash balance and estimated 5.32 quarters of funding

Gradina anomaly strengthens Bosnia exploration case
Regener8 Resources NL (ASX:R8R) has produced its clearest exploration signal yet at Srebrenica North, where post-quarter soil results define a coherent zinc-lead anomaly measuring approximately 1,500m north to south by 900m east to west. The Gradina anomaly, on the Vagan licence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, includes 42 samples above 400ppm combined zinc and lead, with 19 exceeding 1,000ppm. Silver, lead, zinc and antimony are spatially correlated within the anomalous areas.

The latest results lift the reported peaks to 6,517ppm Zn+Pb, 15.3g/t silver and 397ppm antimony in soils. That is an update to the largest Gradina soil anomaly, which had previously been reported at 1,500m by 900m but with lower peak values. The figures remain soil geochemistry, not drilling results, and do not establish a mineral resource or the presence of economic mineralisation.
Sampling advances while Dolovi delivers a weaker response
Across the Vagan and Dolovi tenements, field teams had collected 82% of 1,186 planned soil samples by the time of the report, including work completed after 30 September. The remaining samples are expected to be collected during late October and November, with geological mapping planned for the December quarter before trenching and subsequent drilling are considered.

The early picture is not uniform. Results from 132 Phase 2 samples at Dolovi, collected north and east of the Chaush anomaly, were mostly background values, with peaks of 442ppm Zn+Pb, 0.31g/t silver and 6.1ppm antimony. A small group of weakly elevated samples sits in the eastern part of the licence, while 211 further Phase 2 samples remained to be collected during October and November.
First modern ground-magnetic survey in more than 50 years
Regener8 has completed a ground-magnetic survey over the Zanik prospect at Dolovi and Gradina at Vagan. The company describes it as the first modern geophysical exploration across the licence area in more than five decades, with processing and reporting expected in November. The survey is intended to help shape the next stage of target definition alongside the remaining soil work and geological mapping.
That next stage will need to convert surface anomalies into evidence from bedrock, trenches or drill holes. Historical exploration results cited in the report have not been prepared under the JORC 2012 Code and have not been independently validated by Regener8. The company’s current exploration results are being reported by competent person Mladen Stevanovic, but they remain early-stage results until follow-up work establishes continuity and geological significance.
Cash funds exploration after Kookynie exit
Regener8 finished the quarter with A$2.693 million in cash and cash equivalents after raising A$1.459 million through the placement of the entitlement-offer shortfall. Exploration and evaluation expenditure was A$268,000, while net operating cash outflows were A$238,000. On the quarter’s combined operating and exploration outgoings of A$506,000, the Appendix 5B indicates approximately 5.32 quarters of funding, although that is a run-rate estimate rather than a forecast.
The company has also completed the Kookynie project divestment, receiving 21,428,571 Goldarc Resources shares valued at A$0.07 each and retaining a further A$1.0 million of contingent consideration. Operational attention is now concentrated on Srebrenica North, where newly appointed managing director and CEO Dave Malesic has taken over from Stephen Foley. The immediate test is whether the November geophysical results and remaining soil samples can justify moving from anomaly generation to trenching and drilling.
Bottom Line?
Gradina has become a substantial surface target, but the investment case still hinges on whether November’s geophysics and future drilling confirm mineralisation beneath the soil anomaly.
Questions in the middle?
- Will the ground-magnetic results identify structures that connect Gradina’s surface geochemistry to drill-ready targets?
- Can the remaining sampling and trenching distinguish continuous mineralisation from dispersed surface anomalies?
- How closely will exploration spending track the estimated 5.32-quarter cash runway as drilling begins?
