Additional placement lifts total raise to A$2.04 million

Australian Dairy Nutritionals Limited (ASX:AHF) has secured firm commitments for 89,212,948 new shares at A$0.0173 each, raising a further A$1.543 million before costs. Combined with the earlier strategic placement, the broader capital raise now totals A$2.043 million.

The timing gives the announcement added weight. The company’s October cash runway warning came after it reported A$513,000 in quarter-end cash against a A$619,000 operating cash outflow. AHF now says the new funds will support ongoing operations and working capital, while strengthening the balance sheet as it progresses its FY27 plans.

Placement uses existing issue capacity

AHF will issue the shares under its existing placement capacity pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 7.1, so shareholder approval is not required. The new shares will rank equally with existing ordinary shares and are scheduled for settlement and allotment on 6 November 2026, subject to the stated timetable.

The announcement does not disclose the company’s resulting share count, investor identities or the percentage dilution for existing holders. Those details will matter when the new shares are allotted and quoted on ASX, particularly because the capital raise expands the equity base while the company remains focused on funding day-to-day operations.

Further strategic placement tranches remain outstanding

AHF also said a A$200,000 second tranche of the earlier strategic placement was due to complete on 30 October, with a A$100,000 third tranche expected around 2 November. The next concrete milestones are therefore the completion of those commitments, settlement of the 89.2 million new shares and the resulting update to the company’s capital structure.

Bottom Line?

The extra funding improves near-term financial headroom, but the investment picture still turns on how quickly capital converts into operating momentum and whether the remaining tranches settle as planned.

Questions in the middle?

  • Will the remaining A$300,000 of strategic placement commitments complete on schedule?
  • What will the final share count and dilution be after the new shares are allotted?
  • Can the funds provide sufficient runway while China and Vietnam sales recover?
