BOA's Ricci Lee drilling reveals a second high-grade copper lode
BOA Resources has completed its maiden 46-hole RC program at Ricci Lee with high-grade copper results across two lodes, including a 23-metre intersection at 2.65% copper. The mineralisation remains open at depth and to the north, with diamond drilling planned to begin in November.
- 23m at 2.65% copper, including 6m at 6.91%, in hole 26NCRC043
- 7m at 3.90% copper and 8m at 2.33% copper at depth in hole 26NCRC046
- Hanging-Wall Lode returns 14m at 2.02% copper and remains open north and down dip
- Follow-up RC and diamond drilling planned at Ricci Lee, with drilling also planned at Rooneys
- Assays from four additional Neds Creek prospects remain pending

Ricci Lee delivers BOA's strongest copper intersection
BOA Resources Limited (ASX:BOA) has finished its maiden 46-hole reverse circulation program at Ricci Lee with one of its most substantial copper hits to date: 23 metres at 2.65% copper from 173 metres in hole 26NCRC043, including 6 metres at 6.91%. Individual one-metre samples reached 18.68% copper and 49.95 grams per tonne silver.

The result is more than a headline-grade intercept. BOA says the completed program has improved its understanding of the Main Lode's continuity and geological controls, while the latest drilling also returned a second high-grade interval at depth: 7 metres at 3.90% copper from 244 metres, including 4 metres at 6.40%, followed by 8 metres at 2.33% copper in hole 26NCRC046. These are down-hole widths; true widths have not yet been established.

The results build on the earlier Ricci Lee drilling, which had extended the Main Lode beyond 400 metres of strike and 200 metres vertically. BOA now interprets the high-grade mineralisation as a moderately north-plunging shoot that remains open below the current drilling.
Second lode adds a northern growth target
The parallel Hanging-Wall Lode is becoming a more important part of the Ricci Lee story. Hole 26NCRC039 returned 14 metres at 2.02% copper from 129 metres, including 6 metres at 3.59%, substantially improving on an earlier result from the same section.

BOA says the Hanging-Wall Lode appears to strengthen towards the north and at depth, with both directions still open for testing. The presence of two mineralised structures, along with additional splays identified during drilling, gives the company several targets beyond the principal Main Lode.
Diamond drilling to test depth and continuity

Follow-up RC and diamond drilling is planned to target extensions of the north-plunging Main Lode shoot, the northern and depth extensions of the Hanging-Wall Lode, and the additional structures identified during the program. The campaign is supported by BOA's October capital raising, which secured firm commitments for exploration across the Neds Creek project.
Drilling is expected to resume in November 2026, subject to rig availability and final planning, and continue into 2027. Work is also planned at Rooneys, where the interpreted mineralised trend has extended beyond 500 metres following earlier drilling that included 16 metres at 2.47% copper.
Ricci Lee has not yet been declared a mineral resource, and the scale and continuity of the system will require further drilling to establish. Assays from four other Neds Creek prospects are still pending, leaving BOA with several potential news points beyond the next Ricci Lee campaign.
Bottom Line?
The next drilling phase must convert strong down-hole intersections into a clearer picture of true widths, continuity and resource potential.
Questions in the middle?
- Can diamond drilling confirm the interpreted north-plunging high-grade shoot at greater depth?
- How far does the Hanging-Wall Lode continue to the north and down dip?
- Will assays from the four additional Neds Creek prospects broaden the project beyond Ricci Lee and Rooneys?
