FBR has opened a fully underwritten A$2.5 million share purchase plan to fund testing and commercialisation of its Mantis and Hadrian robotics platforms. Eligible shareholders can subscribe at the lower of A$0.115 or a discounted five-day VWAP, with one five-year option attached to each share issued.

FBR and Thrive Tribe fell heavily as investors weighed fresh funding and unproven commercial targets. Government contracts, recurring revenue and data centre plans gave the technology sector some stronger stories.

FBR has locked in a binding agreement for an initial $900,000 convertible note issue, with options to raise up to $3.87 million subject to shareholder approval and other conditions. The funds will support general working capital as the company explores a confidential acquisition opportunity.

The week’s biggest finance moves came from capital structure changes, fresh funding and one very large private asset revaluation. Governance fights and merger work also kept investors busy.

FBR Ltd is set to slash its share count by consolidating every 50 securities into one, impacting ordinary shares, performance rights, and options. The move awaits shareholder approval with critical milestones scheduled throughout July 2026.

Small caps drove the biggest moves, with Alvo Minerals surging, Klevo extending a payments-fuelled rally, and FBR jumping on fresh contract news. At the larger end, takeover bids, mine funding deals and a strong Liontown update kept resources and corporate activity at the centre of trading.

Robotics, AI chips and defence software drove the week’s biggest technology moves, but not every early jump held. Investors chased clear revenue growth and contract wins, while cash pressure and equity raisings kept a lid on parts of the sector.

FBR Limited secured its first overseas Mantis welding robot sale, launched the Firehawk refractory robot, and expanded its Wall as a Service footprint in Victoria, while navigating a cash balance under $700,000.
