GenusPlus Group has secured an approximately $135 million design and construct contract for the grid connection of Atmos Renewables’ 470MW Parron Maam Marang Farm in Western Australia. The award offers work through 2028, although the main construction phase remains conditional on project milestones including financial close and a Notice to Proceed.

Macmahon will acquire Aspect Engineering Solutions for a headline enterprise value of A$75 million, adding engineering, minerals processing and project delivery capabilities to its mining services platform. The deal is expected to lift underlying EPS by about 6.2% from inception, although completion and future earnings performance remain important variables.

Elixir Energy says its Lorelle-3H well reached a peak test rate of 10.5 MMscfd and a stable rate of 2.35 MMscfd during first-phase cleanup. The ASX-listed gas explorer is now preparing for post-soak testing while weighing farm-outs, joint ventures and other structures for its Taroom Trough assets.

GenusPlus has secured an approximately $160 million contract to deliver balance-of-plant works for a 400 MW / 1.86 GWh battery project at Wodonga, Victoria. Construction is scheduled for completion in late 2028, although the announcement also refers to delivery over the next 18 months.

X2M Connect has signed a non-binding five-year partnership with Ethical Development Fund Australia to pursue a 20MW to 45MW GPU data centre and renewable energy precinct in North Queensland. The opportunity could generate both infrastructure delivery revenue and recurring platform fees, but remains subject to binding project agreements, funding and approvals.
