Exploration Milestone at Arrakis

Yandal Resources has announced the completion of a significant reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at its Arrakis Prospect, part of the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project in Western Australia. The 17-hole, 3,800-metre program has successfully mapped a primary gold mineralised structure extending over 1.2 kilometres of strike within fresh rock. This achievement marks a pivotal step in understanding the prospect's geological framework and mineralisation potential.

Dual Mineralisation Styles Identified

The drilling results reveal a compelling combination of mineralisation styles – broad, shallow zones of gold mineralisation near surface, alongside narrower, higher-grade zones at depth. Such a duality offers promising targets for future exploration, balancing the potential for both bulk tonnage and higher-grade resource development. The continuity of mineralisation along strike and down dip has been demonstrated, reinforcing the prospect's regional significance.

Geological Insights and Structural Complexity

Complementary diamond drilling and air-core programs have refined the geological model, highlighting a moderate strike change to the southeast. This structural complexity means that parts of the mineralised system remain open and untested, particularly beyond the 6,150mN line. Yandal Resources plans to rapidly confirm this interpretation with upcoming drilling, which will focus on the newly identified structural trends and parallel anomalies.

Infrastructure and Forward Strategy

To support the next phase of exploration, Yandal is commissioning a new 21-person exploration camp, enabling a ramp-up in drilling activities scheduled to recommence in March 2026. The company intends to undertake closer-spaced RC drilling on 100-metre spaced lines to delineate higher-grade zones and extend mineralisation along strike. Additional diamond drilling will target deeper mineralisation and provide samples for preliminary metallurgical testing, a critical step toward assessing economic viability.

Broader Exploration Outlook

Beyond Arrakis, Yandal Resources maintains an active exploration agenda across its portfolio, including the New England Granite target area and the Flushing Meadows deposit, which currently holds a resource estimate of 268,000 ounces at 1.1 grams per tonne gold. The company’s strong cash position underpins its capacity to accelerate exploration and potentially expand its resource base throughout 2026.
