High-Tech Metals Ltd (ASX:HTM) has delivered encouraging early assay results from the first 17 holes of its 41-hole reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at the Mt Fisher Gold Project in Western Australia. The results include multiple significant gold intersections, such as 13 metres at 1.54 g/t Au and 12 metres at 2.30 g/t Au, confirming the continuity of mineralisation within the existing resource and reinforcing the company’s geological model.

These initial assays underpin the company’s Mt Fisher Growth Strategy, which aims to systematically expand Mineral Resources, advance near-term development options, and unlock district-scale exploration potential across the project’s extensive 7-kilometre mineralised corridor. Assays for the remaining 24 holes, including those targeting northern resource extensions, are still awaited, with results expected in the coming weeks.

Geological Model Supported by High-Grade Zones

The drilling program has successfully intersected the targeted mineralised sedimentary horizons, characterised by chert, graphitic shale, and banded iron formation, which host gold mineralisation predominantly associated with sulphide-rich zones. High-grade shoots, structurally controlled within broader mineralised envelopes, continue to emerge from the data, with standout intercepts such as 5 metres at 4.95 g/t Au and 2 metres at 5.49 g/t Au.

Chief Executive Officer James Merrillees highlighted that the consistency of mineralisation across these assays is encouraging and aligns well with the company’s evolving geological and structural interpretation. He noted that these results represent less than half of the completed drilling program, with the most critical northern extension assays still pending, which will provide a stronger test of resource expansion potential.

Advancing Development and Exploration Workstreams

Mt Fisher currently hosts a JORC (2012) Mineral Resource Estimate of 464,000 tonnes at 2.32 g/t Au for 35,000 ounces of gold, defined over approximately 600 metres of strike within Mining Lease M53/127. The company is progressing multiple workstreams including an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), metallurgical testwork on carbonaceous stockpiles, and a scoping study at the nearby Wagtail deposit.

Building on this momentum, High-Tech Metals has scheduled a Phase Two drilling program to commence in mid-August, targeting resource extensions and infill drilling. The company is also considering diamond drilling to enhance structural understanding of high-grade mineralisation and support future resource growth. Concurrently, reconnaissance fieldwork is planned across the broader project area, including the Dam–Damsel corridor, which hosts a 75,000-ounce resource and represents a key exploration target.

The drilling results will feed into updated resource models and help assess near-term gold production scenarios at Mt Fisher.
