Saprolite Emerges as Primary Host for Rare Earths at Charley Creek
Enova Mining Limited (ASX:ENV) has reinforced the Charley Creek Rare Earth Project’s credentials with fresh assay results from a seven-hole drilling campaign at the Cattle Creek Prospect, situated 110km north-northwest of Alice Springs. The program, comprising 422 metres of air-core drilling and 27 metres of diamond coring, confirmed multiple thick intercepts of rare earth element (REE) mineralisation predominantly hosted within saprolite horizons.
The standout intercepts include 12 metres at 1,400ppm total rare earth oxides (TREO) with 22% neodymium-praseodymium (NdPr) from 32 metres depth (hole CCC0007), and a remarkable 25.6 metres at 1,583ppm TREO with 17.5% NdPr from 39 metres (hole CCC0004). Peak grades reached as high as 8,218ppm TREO at 21% NdPr, underscoring the saprolite’s potential as a high-grade REE repository.

Enova is also progressing alluvial heavy mineral concentration test work at nearby Milton Park, focusing on monazite and xenotime recovery via wet heavy mineral separation.
While the current campaign focused on saprolite and fresh rock potential, the company acknowledges that further drilling, sampling, and metallurgical studies will be necessary to fully assess the project's development potential.
