Regener8 Advances Srebrenica North with Ground Magnetic Survey and Share Placement

Regener8 Resources has kicked off a Phase 1 ground magnetic survey at its Srebrenica North project, targeting high-grade silver and base metals prospects, while completing a $1.46 million share placement to fund exploration and working capital.

  • Phase 1 ground magnetic survey underway at Zanik and Chaush prospects
  • Survey follows maiden soil sampling program and targets drill-ready structures
  • Dolovi tenement neighbours operating lead-zinc-silver mines
  • 14.6 million shares placed at $0.10 to fund exploration
  • First modern geophysical work in over 50 years at the licence

Ground Magnetic Survey Targets Historic High-Grade Zones

Regener8 Resources (ASX:R8R) has initiated a Phase 1 ground magnetic survey at its Srebrenica North project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, focusing on the Zanik and Chaush prospects within the Dolovi tenement. This marks the first modern ground-based geophysical exploration across the licence in over five decades, aiming to complement recently completed maiden soil sampling.

The Zanik prospect stands out due to its rich historical footprint, including medieval workings and a substantial waste rock dump. Trench samples from 1975 revealed exceptional grades of up to 412 grams per tonne silver, 21.9% lead, 7.3% zinc, and 0.9% antimony. These findings are bolstered by anomalous stream sediment lead values and visible galena-sphalerite-pyrite mineralisation in breccia veins, underscoring the site's exploration potential.

Chaush Prospect Presents Untapped Exploration Opportunity

In contrast, the Chaush prospect remains a virgin exploration target with no recorded historical mining activity. Surface mapping has identified mineralised lead-zinc structures coinciding with airborne magnetic anomalies and hydrothermal alteration zones. The ongoing ground magnetic survey aims to refine these airborne signatures and delineate subsurface structural controls, potentially revealing extensions of the mineralised system.

Strategic Location Adjacent to Operating Mines

The Dolovi tenement's proximity to Mineco’s operating Sase lead-zinc-silver mine and Terra Balcanica’s Viogor-Zanik project (CSE:TERA) places Regener8 in a highly prospective mineral district. The company’s Managing Director, Stephen Foley, emphasised that integrating soil geochemistry with magnetic data will help vector beneath cover and define drill-ready targets, advancing the project towards its next exploration phase.

Capital Raising Supports Exploration Momentum

To fund this exploration push, Regener8 has completed a placement of 14,587,180 shares at $0.10 each, raising approximately $1.46 million. The proceeds will support the ongoing work at Srebrenica North and provide general working capital. This placement represents the shortfall from the company’s earlier pro rata non-renounceable rights issue, further bolstering its financial position for advancing the project.

Regener8’s recent acquisition of the Srebrenica North project and its rapid progression from soil sampling to geophysical surveys reflects a committed in-country team focused on unlocking the tenement’s potential. The company plans to integrate the magnetic survey results with soil geochemistry and geological mapping to prioritise drill targets, with follow-up programs anticipated across the licence.

Bottom Line?

Regener8’s ground magnetic survey and fresh capital injection set the stage for defining drill targets, but the real test lies in converting geophysical anomalies into tangible mineralisation.

Questions in the middle?

  • Will the ground magnetic survey reveal structural controls that justify drilling at Zanik and Chaush?
  • How will Regener8 balance exploration expenditure with its current cash position following the placement?
  • What timeline can investors expect for drilling and potential assay results from this campaign?
