Exceptional Silver Grades Highlight Webbs Expansion

Rapid Critical Metals (ASX:RCM) has delivered a blockbuster batch of silver assay results from its Webbs Silver Project in northern New South Wales, with a standout intercept of 4 metres at 1,230 g/t silver equivalent (AgEQ) from 136 metres in drill hole WSRC0019. This intercept sits inside a broader 37.4-metre zone grading 278.8 g/t AgEQ, combining both exceptional grade and significant width, a rare and valuable combination in silver exploration.

The 981 g/t silver grade over 4 metres in WSRC0019 is about 25% higher than the average 23 oz/t grade historically mined at Webbs between 1884 and 1901. Alongside this, a second high-grade intercept of 7 metres at 641.8 g/t AgEQ from 75 metres in WSRC0028 confirms multiple robust shoots within the main lode to the north.

Mineralisation Corridor Extends Significantly South

Perhaps most striking is the extension of mineralisation more than 300 metres to the south of the current resource boundary, confirmed by hole WSRC0012 intersecting 2 metres at 118 g/t AgEQ. This southern extension, combined with the high-grade intercepts along strike, supports the company’s evolving geological model that Webbs is not a single lode, but a broader mineralised corridor hosting stacked or parallel lodes. The system remains open in all directions tested, pointing to considerable upside potential.

Rapid is moving quickly to capitalise on this momentum, having secured environmental approvals for the adjacent Webbs Consol Project and booking a third drill rig to join the program within weeks. This will substantially increase the pace of drilling and testing along the Webbs–Webbs Consol corridor, a strategic move that aligns with the company’s aggressive 2026 exploration plans.

The latest assays build on a series of strong results earlier in the year and reinforce the discovery momentum at Webbs. Managing Director Byron Miles described WSRC0019 as a "standout result by any measure," highlighting the rare combination of grade and width. He emphasised that the mineralised corridor is still open in every direction tested, underpinning Rapid’s confidence in continued resource growth.

Rapid has drilled over 2,800 metres from 21 holes so far in 2026, employing diamond core and reverse circulation methods with stringent sampling and assay protocols. The company’s AgEQ calculations incorporate silver, copper, lead, and zinc recoveries based on long-term average metal prices and metallurgical test work, providing a robust framework for resource estimation.
