New Drilling Confirms Polymetallic Potential at Firetower

Flynn Gold Limited (ASX:FG1) has bolstered its case for the Firetower Project as a polymetallic development opportunity, releasing further assay results from its 2026 diamond drilling program in northern Tasmania. The latest holes have intersected multiple zones of gold, tungsten, copper, and cobalt mineralisation, with standout intercepts such as 1.9 metres grading 2.02 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 0.56% tungsten trioxide (WO3) from 167.3 metres downhole.

These results extend the known mineralised system, which now shows continuity over approximately 250 metres of strike length and more than 200 metres vertical depth. Notably, the mineralisation remains open both at depth and along strike, suggesting further upside potential as drilling continues.

Details of Key Drill Intercepts Highlight Polymetallic Zones

The drill hole 2019FTD015E, an extension of a historical hole, delivered three mineralised intervals including a high-grade 0.20m section carrying 13.5 g/t gold, 2.26% WO3, 4.37% copper, 0.74% cobalt, and 53.4 g/t silver from 242.35 metres. Other significant intercepts include 1.2m at 2.1 g/t gold and 0.53% copper, and broader zones of lower-grade mineralisation that contribute to the overall resource potential.

Another hole, FT-2026-001, drilled to test depth extensions, intersected three mineralised zones with grades up to 2.14 g/t gold and 2.64% WO3 over a 0.32m interval. These polymetallic grades reinforce the project's potential beyond gold alone, with tungsten and copper adding value.

Pending Assays and Planned Metallurgical Work

Flynn Gold has completed two additional drill holes, with assay results expected in September 2026. A portion of the drill core from these holes will be allocated for metallurgical testwork, a key step toward understanding the processing characteristics of the ore and supporting the forthcoming maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.

Historical drill intercepts have reported impressive grades such as 3 metres at 17.2 g/t gold and 1.1% WO3 near surface, underscoring the project's polymetallic credentials. Flynn’s ongoing geophysical reviews and geological modelling aim to further delineate the system and support resource estimation efforts.
