Regener8 Uncovers New Silver-Lead-Zinc Target Between Two Operating Mines
Regener8 Resources has identified a 1,500m by 900m silver-zinc-lead-antimony soil anomaly at Gradina, the largest defined so far at its Srebrenica North project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The early-stage result sits between two operating mines, but drilling is still some way off.
- 1,500m x 900m coherent Ag-Zn-Pb-Sb soil anomaly at Gradina
- Peak results of 3,520ppm combined zinc and lead, 7.3g/t silver and 110ppm antimony
- Largest anomaly identified at Srebrenica North and first on the Vagan licence
- 594 samples remain at the laboratory, with mapping and geophysics planned
- Dolovi follow-up results were mostly background values

Gradina Produces Srebrenica North’s Largest Soil Anomaly
Regener8 Resources NL (ASX:R8R) has defined a 1,500m by 900m silver-zinc-lead-antimony anomaly at Gradina, giving the explorer its largest coherent soil target yet at Srebrenica North. The anomaly, on the Vagan licence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is also the first identified on that licence.
The Phase 3 program covered 163 soil samples, collected at 100-metre spacing near historical workings and 200 metres elsewhere. Forty-two samples returned more than 400ppm combined zinc and lead, including 19 above 1,000ppm. The strongest result was 3,520ppm zinc plus lead, accompanied by 2.84g/t silver and 109.5ppm antimony; another sample returned 7.3g/t silver.
Silver, lead, zinc and antimony were spatially correlated across the target area, according to the company. Gradina is about 7km north of Mineco’s operating Sase mine and 9km south of its Veliki Majdan mine, placing the new anomaly in an established mining district. The result adds scale to the project’s emerging exploration story, after the company’s earlier Gradina sampling reported selective grab samples from historical waste material.
Follow-up Work Must Still Find the Source
Regener8’s next step is surface work rather than drilling. Geological mapping, rock sampling and a ground magnetic survey are planned to determine what is driving the anomaly and where follow-up work should be concentrated. Management has described Gradina as a high-priority target, with trenching and, subject to results and approvals, first-pass drilling to be considered later.
That distinction matters. Soil geochemistry measures metal content at the surface; the size of the anomaly does not establish the size of an underlying mineralised body, nor its grade, thickness or depth. No drilling has been completed at Srebrenica North. The company also notes that its aqua regia assay method is a partial digestion, appropriate for first-pass soil geochemistry but not guaranteed to fully dissolve resistant minerals.
594 Samples Remain in the Pipeline

The latest batch included 295 primary samples from Gradina and the Dolovi licence. Across the program, 521 results have now been received, while 594 samples are at the laboratory, including the licence-wide Phase 4 program on Vagan. A further 211 Dolovi samples remain to be collected.
Dolovi offered a less dramatic read in this batch: its 132 Phase 2 samples were mostly background, with peaks of 442ppm combined zinc and lead, 0.31g/t silver and 6.1ppm antimony. The company is still completing the remaining sampling and interpreting a completed ground magnetic survey, leaving the next phase of the story dependent on whether pending assays strengthen the target pipeline beyond Gradina.
Bottom Line?
Gradina is a meaningful target-generation result, but the investment case still depends on mapping, pending assays and eventual evidence from trenching or drilling.
Questions in the middle?
- Will the 594 pending assays reveal additional coherent targets or extensions on the Vagan licence?
- Can mapping, rock sampling and ground magnetics identify a drillable source beneath the Gradina anomaly?
- How quickly can Regener8 move from broad soil geochemistry to trenching and approved first-pass drilling?
