Sektor acquisition reaches completion
Dicker Data Limited (ASX:DDR) has completed its acquisition of 100% of Sektor Group, turning the October agreement into an operating expansion with immediate financial relevance. The transaction settled on 2 November 2026 under the terms previously announced.
The acquisition was funded through an extension of Dicker Data’s existing debt facilities. The company has not disclosed the purchase price or the additional debt amount in this announcement, leaving leverage and funding costs as important details for investors to assess in subsequent reporting.
Sektor brings NZD 440 million in revenue
Sektor generated gross revenue of NZD 440 million in the 12 months to 31 August 2026, alongside unaudited normalised pre-AASB16 EBITDA of NZD 22.7 million. Dicker Data is targeting an annualised post-integration EBITDA contribution of approximately NZD 28 million to NZD 32 million, before one-off transaction and integration costs.
That target implies a larger earnings contribution than Sektor’s reported standalone EBITDA, although the comparison is not a clean measure of realised synergies: the historical figure is unaudited and pre-AASB16, while the target is explicitly post-integration and excludes exceptional costs. Dicker Data expects the acquisition to be earnings accretive in its FY26 year ending 31 December 2026, again excluding those one-off costs.
Expansion reaches Thailand and Malaysia
Executive Chair and Managing Director Fiona Brown said the deal expands Dicker Data’s operational reach into adjacent categories including point-of-sale and enterprise mobility, as well as geographically through Sektor’s established footprint in Thailand and Malaysia. The company also said it intends to use its scale, vendor relationships and partner ecosystem to support longer-term growth.
The immediate test is execution. Investors will need to separate the promised annualised contribution from the costs of combining the businesses, while later results should show how much of Sektor’s revenue and EBITDA is flowing through Dicker Data’s accounts and what the debt extension means for the group’s balance sheet.
Bottom Line?
Completion removes the transaction hurdle; the next evidence will be the cost of integration, debt impact and progress toward the NZD 28-32 million annualised EBITDA target.
Questions in the middle?
- How much additional debt did Dicker Data assume, and what will it cost to service?
- When will Sektor’s post-integration EBITDA contribution approach the NZD 28-32 million target?
- How large will the one-off transaction and integration costs be in FY26?
