Boab Metals posts A$7.2m loss as Sorby Hills construction enters its funding test

Boab Metals has moved Sorby Hills from investment decision to construction, but its A$236 million debt facility is not yet available for project drawdowns. The company ended FY26 with A$60.9 million in cash after raising almost A$117 million, while reporting a wider A$7.2 million loss.

Boab expands Sorby Hills resource with 1.6Moz more silver

Boab Metals has increased the Sorby Hills mineral resource by 7% to 50.6Mt, while contained silver rises by 1.6Moz. More Measured and Indicated material now supports the mine plan, although the update does not yet change Ore Reserves, production targets or project economics.
